A cutting-edge AI research initiative is launching an intensive Finance Sprint focused on evaluating whether real-world finance workflows accurately reflect professional practice. We are seeking experienced investment professionals to assess the realism, clarity, and quality of finance-related tasks used to train and evaluate advanced AI systems.
This is a high-engagement, fully remote project beginning immediately. Opportunities are offered on a first-come, first-served basis, and participants should be available to remain actively involved throughout the sprint.
Work typically consists of focused sessions lasting 2–4 hours and requires timely communication, including responding to project updates, questions, and feedback during the day.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Review finance tasks and workflows for professional realism, clarity, completeness, and internal consistency.
- Assess whether task inputs, assumptions, workflows, and expected outcomes accurately reflect real-world finance practices.
- Identify missing assumptions, ambiguous instructions, unsupported requirements, impractical constraints, and important edge cases.
- Evaluate whether tasks appropriately measure professional finance capabilities rather than generic knowledge.
- Provide concise, structured written feedback along with practical recommendations to improve task quality and realism.
- Validate workflow logic and maintain consistent evaluation standards across the project.
- Collaborate with fellow finance experts to ensure high-quality evaluations throughout the sprint.
Required Qualifications
- 5–9 years of relevant experience for the Practitioner track, or 9–15 years for the Senior Reviewer track.
- Professional experience in one or more of the following:
- Fundamental Equity Research
- Asset Management
- Hedge Funds
- Public Markets Investing
- Related Investment Research Roles
- Strong expertise in:
- Financial Statement Analysis
- Financial Modeling
- Forecasting
- Valuation
- Investment Decision-Making
- Excellent written communication skills with the ability to explain both conclusions and supporting rationale.
- Exceptional attention to detail and sound professional judgment.
- Ability to evaluate work against structured quality standards and provide objective feedback.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience covering Technology, Media & Telecommunications (TMT) or Semiconductor sectors.
- Experience conducting event-driven research or analyzing SEC filings.
- Prior experience reviewing analyst work, approving research, setting quality standards, or designing review processes.
- Background contributing to research quality assurance or investment oversight functions.
- Familiarity with AI evaluation, data quality, or model assessment projects is a plus.
