Join an advanced AI initiative focused on training and evaluating models for complex, real-world finance operations. We are seeking experienced finance professionals with deep expertise in operational and technical finance to create, review, and evaluate high-quality financial deliverables that reflect professional industry standards.
In this role, you'll work through realistic, document-intensive business scenarios involving multiple data sources, incomplete information, and complex financial workflows. Your expertise will help establish the benchmark for accurate, practical, and decision-ready financial analysis while improving the capabilities of next-generation AI systems.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Create and evaluate professional finance deliverables across a variety of operational finance functions, including:
- Profit & Loss (P&L) and mark-to-market reconciliations
- Financial control and month-end close activities
- Vendor payment and Accounts Payable (AP) reconciliations
- Purchase order and procurement-to-pay (P2P) workflows
- Integrated three-statement financial models
- Pro forma financial analysis
- Purchase accounting adjustments
- Covenant compliance and credit analysis
- Partnership accounting and profit allocation models
- Analyze complex financial documents such as:
- Trial balances
- Purchase and partnership agreements
- Financial statements
- Internal memos
- Email correspondence
- Term sheets
- Distinguish material financial information from irrelevant or intentionally distracting details while exercising sound professional judgment.
- Review AI-generated financial analyses and assess their technical accuracy, completeness, reasoning, and adherence to professional accounting and finance standards.
- Prepare executive-ready summaries explaining assumptions, key variances, financial impacts, and actionable recommendations.
Core Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in non-investment finance functions, including one or more of the following:
- Financial Control or Product Control
- Corporate FP&A
- Technical Accounting
- Treasury
- Financial Operations
- Accounts Payable / Procure-to-Pay (P2P)
- Commercial Banking Credit
- Partnership or Professional Services Finance
- Professional accounting qualification such as CPA, CA, ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or an equivalent certification is strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of US GAAP and/or IFRS, with additional knowledge of ASC 805 and ASC 606 considered an advantage.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including:
- Linked three-statement financial models
- Financial reconciliations
- Pro forma modeling
- Scenario and sensitivity analysis
- Ability to make well-reasoned financial judgments when working with incomplete, ambiguous, or conflicting information.
- Strong written communication skills with the ability to produce executive-level financial documentation and recommendations.
Note: This position focuses on operational, accounting, and corporate finance. Experience in investment management, portfolio management, or capital markets is not required.
