Dane Street is seeking experienced Occupational Medicine Physicians licensed in Washington to join our growing panel of independent physician reviewers. In this role, you will apply your clinical expertise to conduct comprehensive medical record reviews and provide objective, evidence-based opinions on work-related injuries, illnesses, disability assessments, fitness-for-duty evaluations, and occupational health matters.
This fully remote opportunity offers flexible scheduling and the ability to customize your workload while working as a 1099 independent contractor.
Position Description
As a Physician Reviewer, you will evaluate medical records, prepare concise clinical summaries, and provide independent medical opinions in response to specific questions posed by our clients. Reviews may include assessments of medical necessity, causation, work-relatedness, impairment, disability status, return-to-work recommendations, and appropriateness of treatment.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Reviewing medical records and supporting documentation
- Conducting evidence-based clinical assessments
- Preparing clear, comprehensive written reports
- Participating in peer-to-peer discussions when necessary
- Answering client-specific questions regarding occupational injuries, illnesses, and workplace health concerns
- Applying current clinical guidelines and standards of care to all reviews

Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
- Board Certification in Occupational Medicine preferred
- Current, unrestricted Washington medical license
- Active clinical practice or recent experience in Occupational Medicine
- Minimum of 5 years of post-residency clinical experience
- Ability to attend required orientation and training sessions
- Maintain all applicable licensure, certifications, credentialing, and professional requirements necessary to perform reviewer services
