If you are passionate about leading large-scale cloud and data modernization initiatives that transform enterprise platforms, we would love to hear from you. We are looking for a AtScale Semantic Modeling Architect with 10+ years of experience in enterprise data architecture and financial services. The role will focus on building and governing enterprise semantic models on AtScale and Databricks, enabling business intelligence across banking functions. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in AtScale, Databricks, semantic modeling, banking domain, and enterprise BI platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop enterprise semantic models using AtScale and SML.
- Build semantic models on top of Databricks Delta Lake and Medallion Architecture.
- Experience in creating standardized metrics, preferably BFS domain
- Develop reusable dimensions, hierarchies, measures, and business definitions.
- Optimize AtScale aggregations and Databricks SQL workloads for high-performance analytics.
- Implement data security using Unity Catalog, Row-Level Security (RLS), and Column-Level Security (CLS).
- Enable semantic models for Power BI, Tableau, Excel, and other enterprise analytics platforms.
- Support AI/ML and GenAI use cases through governed semantic metrics and APIs.
- Establish Git-based development, testing, deployment, and CI/CD processes.
- Maintain strong data lineage, governance, auditability, and regulatory compliance.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in data architecture, data warehousing, or dimensional modeling.
- Strong experience in the banking or financial services industry.
- 2+ years of hands-on AtScale and SML experience.
- 2+ years of Databricks architecture experience.
- Strong knowledge with AtScale Semantic Layer, SML, Dimensional/Kimball modeling
- Working knowledge in Databricks, Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, Databricks SQL
- Strong SQL skills.
- Experience with DAX/MDX.
- Understanding of banking data models .
- Experience with financial and regulatory reporting data.
