We're looking for a Google Media Buyer. You'll be the kind of person who can step into a high-performing account, take ownership from day one, and drive profitable customer acquisition for subscription-based e-commerce brands.
This role is all about balancing efficiency and scale across multiple Google Ads campaign types while using data to guide every decision.
In this role, you will:
📋 Manage Google Ads end-to-end (Search, Shopping, Performance Max, YouTube, Display)
🚀 Step into a fast-moving account and own the strategy from day one
🛍️ Drive paid acquisition for our subscription-based eCommerce brands (Paleovalley & Wild Pastures)
📈 Hit efficiency targets (CPA, ROAS, MER) while maintaining scale across all campaign types
📊 Leverage data (GA4, Mixpanel, Haus) to evaluate true performance and guide budget allocation
✏️ Translate insights into actionable creative briefs for designers and creators; refine keywords
🛠️ Diagnose & Turnaround underperforming metrics quickly
To collaborate effectively with our team, we're looking for someone who can generally provide approximately four hours of overlap with our Mountain Time team (typically between 9:00 AM and 1:00 PM MT). Outside of those collaboration hours, you're welcome to structure your workday in a way that best supports your productivity and the needs of the role.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you need:
✅ Google Ads Mastery: Deep proficiency in Search, Shopping, Performance Max, YouTube with 3+ years of experience
✅ Agile Execution: Ability to jump into a new, fast-paced account and hit the ground running
✅ Subscription Expertise: Proven experience in subscription eCommerce—you know the unique dynamics vs. one-time purchases
✅ High-Budget Track Record: Proven history managing significant monthly ad spend while crushing CPA, ROAS, or MER targets
✅ Experience with third-party data measurement and attribution tools like GA4, Mixpanel, and Haus (or similar) to guide budget optimisation
✅ Workflow for analysing performance data and translating insights into actionable briefs for creators and designers, plus search term and keyword refinement
Brownie points for:
⭐ Food, wellness or DTC experience
⭐ Experience with AI-driven campaign optimisation
⭐ Merchant Center expertise
⭐ Experience in high-growth eCommerce brands
⭐ Creative testing experience
⭐ Interest in health, nutrition or regenerative agriculture
The ideal candidate thinks like an owner and operates with a highly proactive mindset. Data drives your decisions, but curiosity keeps you continuously improving.
You're someone who challenges assumptions with data, communicates clearly, and thrives in a collaborative environment while managing your work autonomously. A long-term mindset matters to you, and you're looking for a role where you can truly make an impact.
