✨The core mission:
As a Sr BDR, your mission is to fuel our revenue engine by identifying, engaging, and qualifying the right prospects for our B2B solutions. You act as the first point of contact for potential customers across the DACH region, with a strong focus on the German market. Through structured research and targeted outreach, you help uncover new business opportunities and ensure we connect with organizations where Hack The Box can drive real value.
Beyond outreach, you play a key role in shaping a healthy and predictable sales pipeline. You drive high-quality discovery, assess prospect needs, and collaborate closely with Sales and Marketing to execute effective campaigns. By passing well-qualified opportunities to our Account Executives, you directly contribute to the efficiency, focus, and success of the entire sales organisation.

🍺 The fellowship you’ll be joining:
You’ll join a diverse, international Sales Development function working across multiple regions. You will collaborate daily with:
- The Global Head of Business Development (your direct manager)
- Regional Account Executives
- Revenue Leadership
- Marketing & RevOps
Together, you’ll help build Hack The Box’s presence across Europe.

- Act as the first point of contact for new prospects
- Build and maintain a structured and healthy sales pipeline
- Conduct discovery to understand customer needs early in their journey
- Improve and test outreach approaches (email, call scripts, sequences)
- Align with Marketing on outbound programs
- Represent Hack The Box as a knowledgeable and confident brand ambassador
🏆 Skills, knowledge, and experience points required to unlock the role:
- Native or fluent German language proficiency, with a strong understanding of German business culture, communication styles, and professional etiquette, enabling effective engagement with stakeholders across the DACH region.
- Commercial experience in the German market, with a proven ability to build relationships, navigate local business practices, and operate successfully within the DACH commercial landscape (e.g., sales, customer success, partnerships, or account management).
- High self-motivation, curiosity, and a proactive attitude
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Comfortable initiating conversations and engaging new contacts
- Positive, team-oriented mindset
- Familiarity with CRM tools or sales automation platforms is helpful
- Interest in cybersecurity or technical learning is appreciated but not required
- Excellent verbal and written German communication skills (native)
