The listing
Fleet Support Manager
Location: Remote
Contract: Fixed-term maternity cover until October 2027
Are you highly organised, analytical and confident working with data? We’re looking for a Fleet Support Manager to join us on a fixed-term basis, providing maternity cover until October 2027.
Working closely with the Head of Fleet Development and the wider Fleet team, you’ll play an important role in turning fleet data into meaningful insight. You’ll manage and analyse information from Fleetwave, suppliers and other data sources, producing reports that help us understand performance, costs and opportunities across the fleet.
What you’ll be doing
You’ll support a varied range of fleet activity, including managing the vehicle movement process and maintaining accurate asset information; producing fleet reports, datasets and management information; monitoring supplier performance, KPIs and pricing; and helping identify opportunities to improve fleet utilisation and replacement planning.
You’ll also become a key user of Fleetwave, supporting reporting, compliance and trend analysis, while contributing to fleet procurement projects, tender documentation, business cases and the vehicle ordering process.
This is a role with plenty of variety and exposure across the business, working with Fleet, Finance, operational teams, suppliers and other key stakeholders.
What we’re looking for
You’ll be comfortable working with systems, data and reports and have strong attention to detail. You’ll need good MS Office skills, particularly Excel, alongside previous experience of system administration, data management, reporting and data analysis.
You’ll be someone who can manage your own workload, communicate confidently with people at different levels and work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Experience within the waste industry, transport or logistics, B2B service delivery or management systems such as ISO would be advantageous, but isn’t essential.
