Freight Broker acts as an intermediary between shipper and carrier to facilitate the transportation of goods, dispatcher is responsible for coordinating the transportation of goods assigning loads to drivers, ensuring timely deliveries and pickups, Tracking is responsible for monitoring all shipments, using tracking software to provide accurate updates to customers and internal team for pickups and deliveries with updates put into system.
These positions require the utmost responsibility to focus and maintain time awareness. Ability to stay calm under pressure, have a clear voice to be able to communicate effectively
As a Freight Broker you will identify qualified carriers, negotiate rates, provide all documents needed for deliveries and or pickups, monitor the shipments start to finish and or pass off to team mate at end of shift to follow up
Requirements
Must Have:
- Would like 2-4 years of trucking, freight brokerage experience with basic knowledge of the trucking industries
