EMR Download Associate
Shift Hours: 7:00 AM PST to 3:30 PM PST (Including 30 min break)
Position Type: Temporary/Seasonal
Pay Rate: $14/hr OR $2.50 records per pay -whichever is higher.
Job Summary:
Advantmed is seeking Remote EMR Download Associates. Ideal candidates will have basic PC knowledge and troubleshooting skills. The primary responsibility is to download patients' medical records from secure electronic medical record systems using our HIPAA-compliant software.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Retrieve medical records from EMR systems.
- Perform Quality Checks to ensure records are complete and visible.
- Monitor completed work and provide feedback to improve team performance.
- Maintain policy, procedures, work instructions, and projects for quality and continuous improvement.
- Contribute to business growth by ensuring customer satisfaction with service and quality.
- Safeguard patient records and manage data transfers in compliance with HIPAA standards and organizational regulations.
- Scan and validate medical records for upload.
- Maintain complete confidentiality in accordance with organizational and legal requirements.
Requirements:
- Minimum High School Diploma
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Logical reasoning and analytical thinking.
- Openness to feedback and coaching as part of ongoing training.
- Strong PC skills.
- The candidate should have a solid understanding of the US healthcare industry and its regulations.
- The candidate should have experience working with multiple medical practices and doctors & EMR knowledge would be an added advantage.
