We are seeking an experienced Guidewire Developer with strong hands-on expertise in developing, configuring, and implementing solutions using Guidewire technologies. The ideal candidate will have experience working with PolicyCenter, cloud-based Guidewire environments, and Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance applications.
You will work closely with business, functional, and technical teams to design, develop, customize, integrate, and support Guidewire applications. This role requires strong technical knowledge of Gosu, PCF, Rules Engine, Data Model, integrations, and insurance domain processes.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, configure, and maintain Guidewire applications and solutions.
- Work extensively with Guidewire PolicyCenter and cloud-based Guidewire platforms.
- Develop and customize application functionality based on business and technical requirements.
- Configure and enhance PCF, Rules Engine, Data Model, and other Guidewire components.
- Develop and maintain integrations between Guidewire applications and external systems.
- Build and consume REST APIs to support application and system integrations.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
- Support insurance product configuration and workflows for Property & Casualty insurance lines.
- Work with Professional Liability and Commercial Auto insurance processes and related application requirements.
- Participate in system design, development, testing, debugging, deployment, and production support activities.
- Troubleshoot complex application and integration issues and implement effective solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile development environment.
- Ensure application solutions are scalable, maintainable, secure, and aligned with development best practices.
- Contribute to technical documentation, code reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Guidewire development.
- Strong hands-on experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter.
- Experience working with cloud-based Guidewire solutions and platforms.
- Strong proficiency in Gosu programming.
- Hands-on experience with PCF, Rules Engine, Data Model, and Guidewire integrations.
- Experience developing and integrating REST APIs.
- Good understanding of Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance.
- Experience with insurance lines such as Professional Liability and Commercial Auto.
- Understanding of software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
