Position Description:
As an Associate Technical Account Manager, you'll partner with some of the world's most recognized restaurant brands and serve as a trusted technical advisor within the PAR ecosystem.
You'll begin your journey alongside experienced Technical Account Managers who will provide mentorship, coaching, and hands-on exposure to PAR's restaurant technology portfolio.
As your expertise grows, you'll take increasing ownership of customer relationships, integrations, strategic projects, and technical initiatives that directly impact customer success.

At PAR, Technical Account Management is more than troubleshooting or project coordination. We are the bridge between customers, product teams, engineers, and customer success teams. We help customers unlock value from their technology investments while driving long-term adoption, retention, and growth.

Remote USA; within select states: Texas, Minnesota, New York, Florida, Colorado, Minnesota, Pennsylvania, Illinois, Georgia, North Carolina

Sr. Manager, Technical Account Team
What We’re Looking For:
Requirements:
1–3 years of professional experience, preferably in technical consulting, solutions architecture, or enterprise integration in B2B SaaS or restaurant technology.
Must-have Background in restaurant technology (hardware and/or software), hospitality SaaS, or a comparable enterprise technical environment strongly preferred.
Strong API and integration skills; proficiency in Postman (Collections, Environments, test scripts, Monitors, documentation).
Cloud fundamentals (AWS/GCP/Azure); CI/CD and observability awareness.
Exceptional written and verbal communication — able to explain complex technical concepts to executives and engineers alike.
Experience with Jira, Confluence, or equivalent ticketing and documentation tools.
Additional skills:
Scripting fluency in at least one language (JavaScript/Node, Python, etc.) would be a major plus
Unleash your potential: What you will be doing and owning:
Technical Account Ownership
Serve as the technical owner for assigned accounts across the full PAR product portfolio; build trusted relationships with customer architects, IT teams, and operations stakeholders.
Co-create account plans with CSMs; lead the technical narrative in QBRs including integration of health, stability posture, known risks, and forward-looking technical roadmap.
Maintain clear, current technical documentation for each account: integration map, active workstreams, open tickets, and escalation status.
Integration & Technical Delivery
You have solid technical working knowledge across multiple PAR products — hardware and software — and understand how they connect. You own integration workstreams for mid-complexity accounts, document configurations, and contribute the technical narrative to QBRs.
Design, oversee, and execute integrations that are scalable, secure, observable, and supportable across the full PAR stack.
Use Postman (Collections, Environments, automated tests, Monitors, documentation) as a core delivery tool.
Enforce quality gates pre-launch and run proactive readiness scans before major campaigns or go-lives.
Produce operator-ready runbooks, SOPs, smoke tests, and rollback plans for your technical workstreams.
Upsell, Cross-Sell & Technical Discovery
You actively surface cross-sell and upsell signals through technical discovery on every customer touchpoint. You document signals in CRM and partner with the CSM to qualify and progress expansion opportunities with Sales.

Contribute technical narrative to cross-sell conversations — building the case for additional PAR products based on the customer's technical environment and gaps.
Cross-Functional Technical Coordination
Lead escalation coordination with Product and Engineering; propose workarounds and drive resolution with clear owner accountability and customer-facing timelines.
Partner with Support to ensure clean handoffs and reduce recurring issues through root cause documentation and playbook updates.
Keep all work items and tickets current with weekly 'moved / blocked / next' updates.
