The role / impact

As a Partner Success Manager at Xero, you will drive retention and revenue growth across an assigned portfolio of accounting and bookkeeping partners. You will champion the adoption of the full Xero platform, helping partners realise measurable value through proactive business reviews, strategic success planning, and tailored growth solutions.

By connecting partner needs with the right Xero features—including online bill pay, payroll, analytics, and AI-powered capabilities—you will uncover expansion opportunities, improve subscription attach rates, and secure long-term retention. Your work directly strengthens partner practices while helping small businesses thrive.

The team & how they connect

You will join a dedicated post-sales team working side-by-side with Solutions Consultants to deepen partner engagement and support account growth. Together, you will collaborate closely across Customer Experience, Marketing, Sales Operations, and Finance to deliver joined-up support for accounting and bookkeeping firms. By acting as trusted strategic advisors, the team ensures our partners have everything they need to scale their practices effectively.

Initially, you will focus on

  • Managing a portfolio of accounting and bookkeeping firms using Salesforce CRM to track health signals, forecasting, and expansion pipelines.

  • Conducting structured business reviews and success planning sessions to align commercial goals with platform capabilities.

  • Championing full platform adoption across core features, including payroll, online bill pay, analytics, and AI-driven tools.

  • Identifying churn risks early and implementing proactive retention and subscription optimisation strategies.

Where and how you can work

This role offers flexible working arrangements, including hybrid and remote options depending on your location. You will also travel regularly for industry events and on-site partner meetings, with access to collaborative office spaces for team connection days and shared focus time.

Here are some of the things we are looking for

  • A background in account management, partner success, or sales within a fast-paced SaaS or technology environment.

  • Experience managing a portfolio of partner accounts, with a track record of prioritising effectively to meet growth and retention goals.

  • Proven ability to lead strategic business reviews, present to key stakeholders, and navigate value-based commercial conversations.

  • Familiarity with Salesforce CRM and data insights to manage pipeline, forecasting, and account health.

  • Expertise in positioning broader platform products such as payroll, analytics, or automated workflow tools.

  • A collaborative mindset and strong communication skills to work seamlessly with technical consultants and cross-functional teams.
