Your CareerWe are seeking a Senior Software Engineer - Java Microservices to design, develop, and support scalable, cloud-native enterprise applications. In this role, you will work on modern API, integration, and event-driven architectures while collaborating with global teams to deliver high-quality software solutions. Your Impact- Design, develop, and maintain Java-based microservices using Spring Boot.
- Build and manage enterprise APIs using Apigee X.
- Develop and support event-driven architecture using Confluent Kafka.
- Collaborate with architects, product owners, and engineering teams to deliver scalable solutions.
- Develop secure, high-performing, and resilient applications following industry best practices.
- Design, optimize, and maintain PostgreSQL databases.
- Utilize GitHub for source control, code reviews, and CI/CD processes.
- Integrate applications with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), BigQuery, and Cloud APIs.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues efficiently.
- Participate in Agile development processes, sprint planning, and technical discussions.
- Contribute to architecture design, performance tuning, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Explore and leverage technologies such as Python and Neo4j to enhance platform capabilities.
- 3+ years of experience in Java application development.
- Strong hands-on experience with Java Microservices and Spring Boot.
- Experience with Apigee X API Management.
- Strong knowledge of Confluent Kafka and event-driven architecture.
- Experience with GitHub and CI/CD practices.
- Strong understanding of PostgreSQL databases.
- Working knowledge of Python.
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), BigQuery, and Cloud APIs.
- Exposure to Neo4j graph database is preferred.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
The candidate must be willing and able to continue expanding their expertise in cloudnative technologies, distributed systems, and modern software engineering practices.
