About Tradeify
Tradeify is a growing futures trading fintech focused on creating a reliable, transparent, and technology-enabled experience for traders. As the business scales, we are strengthening the systems, controls, and financial processes that support confident decisions and sustainable growth.
About the role
We are hiring a Revenue Accounting Manager to own revenue accounting while supporting the broader accounting function across Tradeify's entities and product lines. This role will lead ASC 606 compliance and the revenue close while also contributing to the monthly close, general ledger, balance-sheet reconciliations, financial reporting, and audit readiness. The ideal candidate combines strong technical accounting judgment with a hands-on approach and can move comfortably between detailed transactions, operational data, and cross-functional business conversations.
What you will do
Own the end-to-end monthly revenue close, including journal entries, reconciliations, deferred revenue, estimates, and management reporting.
Evaluate existing and new revenue streams under ASC 606 and prepare clear technical accounting memoranda supporting conclusions.
Support the broader month-end and year-end close, including general-ledger activity, accruals, account analysis, and balance-sheet reconciliations.
Review accounting activity for completeness, accuracy, appropriate classification, and compliance with U.S. GAAP.
Review customer terms, product changes, promotions, refunds, credits, and other arrangements for accounting implications.
Develop and maintain revenue-recognition policies, controls, schedules, and documentation across legal entities and product lines.
Reconcile transaction-level source data to payment platforms, operational systems, the general ledger, and financial reporting outputs.
Partner with Product, Legal, Data, Engineering, Operations, and Finance to ensure new offerings are operationally and technically ready for accurate accounting.
Identify and implement automation opportunities that improve completeness, accuracy, traceability, and close speed.
Support financial statement preparation, management reporting, external audits, and internal control testing across the accounting function.
Investigate variances and data issues, determine root causes, and drive sustainable resolution.
What we are looking for
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
Five or more years of progressive accounting experience, including direct ownership of revenue recognition, general-ledger accounting, and the month-end close.
Strong working knowledge of U.S. GAAP and ASC 606, including the ability to analyze nonstandard arrangements.
Experience working with high-volume transactional data and reconciling information across multiple systems.
Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills and the ability to explain complex accounting topics clearly.
Excellent attention to detail, judgment, organization, and follow-through in a fast-changing environment.
Preferred qualifications
CPA or active CPA candidacy.
Public accounting experience or experience supporting a financial statement audit.
Experience in fintech, payments, subscription, marketplace, gaming, or another transaction-intensive business.
Experience with NetSuite, SQL, business intelligence tools, or revenue automation platforms.
Experience supporting multiple legal entities or product lines.
How success will be measured
Revenue is recorded accurately, consistently, and on schedule across entities and product lines.
Assigned close activities, reconciliations, and financial reporting deliverables are accurate and completed on time.
ASC 606 conclusions are well documented and new offerings are assessed before launch.
Revenue reconciliations and controls provide clear traceability from source transactions to the general ledger.
Manual work and recurring close issues decline as processes and systems mature.
