In this opportunity, we are looking for a Senior Front-end Developer to work with one of our foreign clients, who is a market leader in the consultation, design, procurement, implementation, and ongoing managed services for technology services for mid to large global enterprises. As a Telecom Managed Service company, they partner with over 300 service providers globally to help customers with technology design and find the best solutions to meet their needs.

Here are some of the exciting day-to-day challenges you will face in this role:

  • Design, develop, enhance, and maintain responsive, enterprise-grade web applications using
    Vue.js and modern JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • Build reusable, maintainable, and scalable Vue components and contribute to the organization's in-
    house UI framework and component library.
  • Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate designs into responsive, accessible, and consistent
    user experiences, including implementation and documentation through Storybook.
  • Participate in product and technical design discussions and provide recommendations regarding
    front-end architecture, usability, performance, and implementation approaches.
  • Integrate front-end applications with REST APIs and C#/.NET backend services.
  • Develop clean, maintainable, well-structured code that follows established engineering standards
    and best practices.
  • Develop and maintain unit and integration tests and design solutions with testability in mind.
  • Participate in peer code reviews and provide constructive technical feedback.
  • Diagnose and resolve complex application, browser, integration, and performance issues.
  • Optimize applications for performance, scalability, responsiveness, and user experience.
  • Apply appropriate web accessibility standards to front-end development.
  • Use GitHub for source control, pull requests, code reviews, and collaborative development.
  • Work within Docker-based development environments as applicable.
  • Utilize SQL Server/SSMS as needed to investigate data and troubleshoot application issues.
  • Collaborate closely with QA to resolve defects and support the delivery of reliable, high-quality
    software.
  • Contribute to technical standards, development practices, documentation, and continuous
    improvement.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to less-experienced developers when appropriate.
  • You will shine if you have:

  • 6+ years of professional software development experience, with significant experience in front-
    end application development.
  • Strong professional experience developing applications with Vue.js.
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript and modern front-end development practices.
  • Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, responsive design, and modern web development
    principles.
  • Experience developing reusable, component-based user interfaces.
  • Strong experience integrating front-end applications with RESTful APIs.
  • Experience with unit and integration testing.
  • Experience with Git and GitHub, including pull requests and code reviews.
  • Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to independently analyze requirements, identify technical solutions, and deliver work with
    limited direction.
  • Experience working within an Agile/Scrum or Kanban environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with Software Developers, QA, Product, UX/UI, and other
    stakeholders.
  • It doesn't hurt if you also have:

  • Professional experience with TypeScript.
  • Experience with Storybook or similar component development and documentation tools.
  • Experience working with C#/.NET backend services and APIs.
  • Working knowledge of SQL Server and SSMS for data investigation and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with Docker and containerized development environments.
  • Knowledge of web performance optimization techniques and browser performance.
  • Knowledge of WCAG and web accessibility standards.
  • Experience contributing to or maintaining a shared UI framework or component library.
  • Experience mentoring developers or providing technical guidance within an engineering team.
