About this roleThis is a great opportunity to gain meaningful, hands-on experience in fraud operations at a fast-growing fintech and travel platform. As part of our Strategic Operations team, you'll sit at the intersection of customer experience, risk, and revenue—building the investigative and analytical muscles that protect millions of customers and the business. You'll work alongside Fraud Analysts, Operations leaders, and cross-functional partners across Payments, Product, and Customer Support, with the chance to contribute to special projects that shape how Super.com fights fraud at scale. This internship is a strong fit for a student with foundational business knowledge, sharp attention to detail, and a curiosity for how fraud, payments, and customer behavior connect.
What you’ll be working on:Conduct deep-dive investigations into customer accounts, synthesizing complex evidence to drive high-integrity case decisions
Leverage data mining across transaction and behavioral datasets to proactively identify fraud trends and emerging risk vectors
Maintain vigilance over fraud dashboards and real-time alerts to mitigate financial losses and outpace sophisticated bad actors
Collaborate with cross-functional partners in Payments, Customer Support, and Product to execute high-impact fraud and chargeback initiatives
Drive special projects focused on scaling our fraud playbooks, internal tooling, and comprehensive reporting frameworks
Currently pursuing a post-secondary degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Criminology, or a related field of study
Proficient in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets, including the use of formulas, pivot tables, and lookups; prior exposure to SQL or BI tools is highly advantageous
1–2 years of relevant professional or internship experience is preferred
Proven aptitude for data analysis or investigative work, whether through academic projects, co-op placements, or extracurricular initiatives
Possess a sharp eye for detail and a natural ability to synthesize patterns and identify anomalies within complex datasets
A critical thinker and proactive problem-solver who thrives when navigating ambiguity in a fast-paced environment
A rapid learner with a strong sense of ownership and a desire to make a tangible impact within a high-growth startup
Bonus: prior experience or exposure to fraud mitigation, risk management, payments, e-commerce, or customer operations
Home Office Setup Allowance: $300 one-time
Friday UberEats Allowance: $25/week
Learning & Development Allowance: $300/ per term
Fitness/Wellness Allowance: $120/per term
