This is a remote position.

Position Description:

Ardent is seeking a Recruiter with government contracting (GovCon) recruiting experience to support the full lifecycle recruitment of technical and professional talent supporting federal government programs. The Recruiter will partner closely with hiring managers and leadership to develop recruiting strategies, source qualified candidates, manage candidate pipelines, and facilitate the hiring process from initial outreach through offer and onboarding. This position requires an understanding of the federal contracting environment and the ability to identify and engage qualified candidates for technical, professional, and hard-to-fill positions.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Manage the full lifecycle recruiting process, from requisition intake and candidate sourcing through offer and onboarding.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand position requirements and develop effective recruiting strategies.
  • Source candidates through LinkedIn, job boards, professional networks, employee referrals, and other recruiting channels.
  • Recruit for technical and professional positions supporting federal government contracts.
  • Develop and maintain candidate pipelines for current and anticipated contract and proposal requirements.
  • Screen resumes and conduct initial candidate interviews to assess qualifications and alignment with position requirements.
  • Source and engage candidates with active or previously held U.S. government security clearances.
  • Utilize Boolean search techniques and other sourcing strategies to identify qualified candidates.
  • Coordinate interviews and maintain timely communication with candidates and hiring managers.
  • Prepare and extend employment offers and coordinate pre-employment requirements in partnership with Human Resources.
  • Maintain accurate candidate information and recruiting activity within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Monitor recruiting activity and provide updates on candidate pipelines and hiring progress.
  • Support recruiting efforts for new contract awards, recompetes, and proposal opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with candidates and passive talent to support current and future hiring needs.
  • Represent Ardent at recruiting events, career fairs, and other talent acquisition activities.
  • Ensure recruiting activities are conducted in accordance with company policies and applicable employment laws.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of recruiting experience, including experience supporting government contracting (GovCon) organizations.
  • Experience recruiting for federal government contract positions, including technical and professional roles.
  • Experience sourcing candidates for hard-to-fill positions.
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruiting platforms.
  • Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter and Boolean search techniques.
  • Knowledge of federal government security clearance requirements and experience recruiting cleared candidates.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple open positions and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with hiring managers and leadership.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience recruiting for Defense, Homeland Security, Civilian, or other federal government agencies.
  • Experience recruiting candidates with Top Secret, Secret, or other government security clearances.
  • Experience supporting recruiting efforts for new contract awards, recompetes, and proposals.
  • Established network of candidates within the federal contracting and cleared talent communities.
  • Experience recruiting for cybersecurity, cloud, GIS, systems engineering, software development, data, and other technical positions.
  • Experience using LinkedIn Recruiter, ClearanceJobs, Indeed, and other specialized recruiting resources.
  • Familiarity with federal contracting terminology, labor categories, contract staffing requirements, and proposal recruiting.
