About the Role
Sales Development at Andela is more than booking meetings—it's the launchpad for a career in enterprise technology sales. You'll own a territory, build relationships with some of the world's most recognizable companies, and help organizations transform how they build software and AI teams.
From day one, you'll partner closely with experienced Account Executives, own strategic outbound campaigns, and develop the skills to navigate complex enterprise buying committees. You'll be trusted to create pipeline, influence revenue, and become an expert in one of the fastest-growing spaces in technology: AI-powered global talent solutions.
If you're highly competitive, intellectually curious, and motivated by winning, this role offers an accelerated path into enterprise sales.
What You'll Do
You'll play a direct role in Andela's growth by:
Own outbound prospecting across a defined territory or strategic account list, creating new pipeline through thoughtful, multi-channel outreach.
Partner closely with Enterprise Account Executives to develop account strategies, identify buying signals, and engage multiple stakeholders throughout the buying journey.
Build relationships with senior decision makers across Engineering, Technology, Product, HR, and Procurement organizations.
Qualify inbound and outbound opportunities through discovery conversations that uncover meaningful business challenges.
Support enterprise sales cycles by conducting research, maintaining stakeholder maps, coordinating meetings, and contributing to account plans.
Collaborate with Marketing on campaigns, events, and account-based initiatives that generate demand within target accounts.
Consistently exceed activity, pipeline, and meeting goals while continuously improving your prospecting approach through experimentation and data.
Become an expert in AI, software development, and global talent trends so you can speak credibly with enterprise technology leaders.
What Makes This Role Different
We don't see SDRs as a support function—we see them as future enterprise sellers.
You'll receive hands-on coaching from experienced sales leaders, work alongside high-performing Account Executives, and learn how enterprise technology deals are built from first conversation through closed business.
Whether your goal is becoming an Enterprise AE, leading a sales team, or building your own business one day, you'll develop the commercial skills and business acumen that accelerate your career.
About You
We're looking for someone who is ambitious, coachable, and energized by building relationships.
You might be a great fit if you:
Are early in your sales career and excited to build a long-term career in enterprise technology sales.
Love competition and enjoy working toward ambitious goals.
Take ownership, move quickly, and thrive in environments where you'll be trusted with responsibility.
Are naturally curious and ask thoughtful questions to understand business problems.
Build rapport easily and communicate confidently with stakeholders at all levels of an organization.
Are resilient—you see rejection as feedback and remain motivated by long-term success.
Enjoy experimenting with new outreach strategies, messaging, and AI tools to improve results.
Thrive in fast-paced, high-growth environments where no two days look the same.
Qualifications
1–3 years of professional experience (internships and sales internships welcomed).
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent organization and time management skills.
Interest in enterprise technology, AI, or B2B SaaS sales.
Experience with CRM or sales engagement tools such as Salesforce, Outreach, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Gong, or similar is a plus.
Demonstrated ability to learn quickly, adapt to change, and work collaboratively in a remote-first environment.
