The listing

RevenueCat gives app businesses the infrastructure and tools to build, run, and improve their monetization. Since graduating from YC's S18 batch, we've grown into the default monetization platform for mobile.

We're in 50%+ of newly shipped subscription apps, we process $16B+ in annual purchase volume, and we help everyone from a solo developer to the OpenAI mobile team understand and grow their revenue.

We're a remote-first team of 150+ people across 25+ countries, guided by values we actually practice: Customer Obsession, Always Be Shipping, Own It, and Balance.

This isn't the right fit for everyone. The systems you’ll build here manage billions of dollars and touch hundreds of millions of end users, and we don’t take that lightly. You'll be expected to work hard and hold a high bar for what you ship, alongside some of the sharpest, most driven people you've worked with. If that sounds energizing rather than exhausting, keep reading.

The Role

RevenueCat is a lot of things for a lot of different users: Easy to integrate and maintain subscription infrastructure for engineers, a way to increase conversion and revenue for product teams, a source of invaluable insights for marketers, and the place where you support your paying customers for support teams. We're also (very) committed to connecting to and learning from all these different types of users.

That's where events come in: Most of us regularly attend events for all kinds of audiences, all around the world. It's an opportunity to learn from the different types of people that use RevenueCat on a day to day basis, to spend some face-time with our colleagues, and maybe collect a lead or two (thousand) while we're at it.

We're looking for a Senior Event Manager to join the team responsible for these in-person event experiences and activations, as well as the virtual events we regularly organize to connect to our audience remotely. Working alongside Sabrina, our Events Lead, you'll drive strategic initiatives across our event calendar, conceptualize and execute creative first-party experiences, and lead innovative event programs as we strive to leave a lasting impression and drive measurable business impact.

As our next Senior Event Manager, you'll immediately take ownership of major event programs and lead cross-functional initiatives that align events with broader company objectives. You'll work closely with Sales, Success and Product teams to design targeted experiences that accelerate pipeline and deepen customer relationships. Throughout, you'll mentor team members and independently drive company-critical event strategies.

What you'll be responsible for

You'll collaborate on event strategy development, own complex multi-stakeholder projects, and drive operational excellence across our growing event portfolio. You'll independently manage and reimagine various first-party events like roadshows, customer dinners, workshops, lunch & learns, among others, and own a major workstream for our annual conference.

A crucial part of your role will be designing and executing demand generation events that drive qualified pipeline for our Sales team. You'll work closely with Sales and Marketing teams to build impactful events that impress prospects, generate quality leads, and accelerate opportunities through the funnel.

Within the first month, you'll:

  • Conduct comprehensive analysis of RevenueCat's event ecosystem and identify strategic optimization opportunities

  • Build relationships as a key partner across Marketing, Sales, Success, and Product teams

  • Present your "first ship" showcasing a quick win, such as:

    • Process improvements to existing event workflows

    • A new event format concept with business case

    • Strategic recommendations for upcoming events

  • Demonstrate mastery of event management systems and processes

  • Independently navigate complex organizational dynamics

Within the first 3 months, you'll:

  • Design a flagship first-party event experience with creative in-house execution

  • Own end-to-end execution of multiple high-stakes events simultaneously, coordinating internal stakeholders across Sales, Success, and Product teams

  • Complete strategic assessment of our event portfolio and present actionable recommendations for optimization

Within the first 6 months, you'll:

  • Own a major workstream for RevenueCat's annual conference, managing all aspects from planning through execution

  • Lead strategic initiatives that integrate events with broader marketing and sales objectives including pipeline acceleration and customer expansion programs

  • Build repeatable event playbooks and formats that Sales and Success teams can leverage

  • Establish yourself as the go-to expert for event strategy and execution across the organization

  • Drive process improvements that increase efficiency while reducing reliance on external vendors

After 12 months, you'll have:

  • Established yourself as a strategic leader who proactively identifies and executes company-critical event initiatives

  • Full autonomy over major event programs with demonstrated ability to deliver exceptional results with minimal oversight and lean operational approaches

  • Successfully delivered your annual conference workstream with measurable impact on attendee experience and business outcomes

  • Led a major strategic initiative such as launching a signature owned event series, building a scalable regional activation program, or driving significant expansion into new markets through events

What you'll need to be successful

7+ Years of senior-level experience in Event Management in a B2B or B2D (Business to Developer) SaaS environment, with a proven track record of leading strategic event initiatives and driving measurable business outcomes through owned events and targeted customer activations

  • Strategic Leadership: Demonstrated ability to independently develop and execute event strategies that align with broader business objectives, with minimal guidance required and strong collaboration with Sales, Success, and Product stakeholders

  • Exceptional Project Management: Proven experience leading complex, multi-stakeholder projects across different time zones, with the ability to navigate tradeoffs and make strategic decisions independently

  • Full Event Ownership: Track record of independently owning first-party events from conception through post-event analysis, including P&L responsibility and ROI optimization

  • Diverse Event Expertise: Success designing and executing various event formats including field marketing programs, workshops, executive dinners, customer roundtables, and conferences of all sizes. Strong understanding of how events drive pipeline at different stages of the customer journey. Experience with developer and technical audiences, particularly mobile app developers, indie makers, and product-led growth communities.

  • Event Programming Expertise: Proven experience designing and executing event programming including content strategy, speaker sourcing and management, agenda development, session design, and creating engaging educational experiences for technical audiences

  • Cross-Functional Partnership: Proven ability to work embedded with Sales, Success, and Product teams to understand their goals and design event experiences that directly support revenue objectives and customer outcomes

  • Proactive Problem-Solving: History of identifying challenges before they become problems and implementing solutions without requiring management intervention

  • Precision and Strategic Thinking: Ability to balance high-level strategy with meticulous attention to operational detail while maintaining focus on creative, resourceful execution

  • Executive Communication: Exceptional communication skills with demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders, manage internal resources effectively, and represent the company at industry events

  • Rapid Learning and Adaptation: Proven ability to quickly master new platforms and processes, then optimize them for maximum effectiveness

  • Strategic Innovation: Experience developing event strategies from first principles and creating memorable, impactful experiences that drive business results with emphasis on unique, ownable formats rather than formulaic approaches

  • Advanced Problem-Solving: Demonstrated ability to handle complex, ambiguous situations and turn potential crises into opportunities through resourcefulness and creative thinking

  • Business Impact Focus: Strong track record of converting events into measurable business outcomes, with fluency in demand gen and sales metrics including leads, MQLs, SQLs, opportunities, pipeline influence, and deal acceleration. Experience with event attribution models, demonstrating ROI to revenue leadership, and reporting on both top-of-funnel and full-funnel impact

  • Global Perspective: Comfort with regular international travel and managing events across multiple regions and cultures

We're a fully remote team, so you'll need to excel in an asynchronous environment while using Notion, Zoom, Slack, and Linear at an expert level. You'll be expected to actively contribute to reducing 'meeting-bloat' while driving effective real-time collaboration on strategic initiatives.

Bonus points for experience with:

  • Developer and technical audiences, particularly mobile app developers

  • Product-led growth communities and subscription businesses

  • Indie developer and maker communities

  • Technical conferences and hands-on workshop formats

What we offer:

  • Competitive equity in a fast-growing, Series C startup backed by top-tier investors, including Y Combinator

  • 10-year window to exercise vested equity options

  • A fully remote environment designed around autonomy and flexibility.

  • 4-5 weeks of flexible time off annually

  • Paid desk at a co-working space

  • Workspace budget and continuous learning stipend
