Role Overview
Location: Sydney or Melbourne (Remote)
NETGEAR is looking for a driven, hunter-mentality Senior Territory Account Manager to join our Commercial/Enterprise Channel business across Australia and New Zealand. As we aggressively grow sales of our industry-leading IP networking, switching, and wireless solutions, this role is built for a sales professional who thrives on winning new business, opening doors, and owning the full sales cycle - not managing the status quo.
You will prospect, develop, and close a portfolio of partner and channel accounts across ANZ, driving quarterly growth in line with NETGEAR's corporate goals.
Key Responsibilities
Partner & Channel Development
Proactively identify, recruit, and onboard new partners - resellers, VARs, and value-added distributors - with a focus on high-growth verticals and untapped opportunity.
Hunt for specialist partners who can accelerate adoption of NETGEAR's wireless access points, switches, and cloud-managed solutions.
Build and maintain a healthy project pipeline, constantly expanding the breadth and depth of NETGEAR's channel footprint across ANZ.
Business Development
Own your number - meet or exceed quarterly and annual revenue and margin targets with urgency and accountability.
Develop a sharp understanding of the competitive landscape and build aggressive plans to capture category leadership within your territory.
Create compelling proposals, negotiate commercial agreements, and manage pricing and margins to close deals and defend share.
Plan and prioritise sales activity relentlessly - meetings, calls, and outreach to maximise pipeline coverage and respond to opportunities fast.
Sales Execution & Reporting
Maintain accurate pipeline records in CRM and provide regular forecasting, competitive intelligence, and market insight to leadership.
Track and report on activity, channel and technology developments, and market trends affecting territory performance.
Collaboration & Insights
Partner with Sales Engineering, Marketing, Product Management, and Operations to accelerate deals and resolve customer issues quickly.
Share market intelligence, partner feedback, and competitive insights with internal teams to inform product positioning and go-to-market strategy.
Preferred Qualifications
Salesforce CRM experience.
Additional language skills suited to ANZ's multicultural markets.
Additional Information
This role requires approximately 50% travel across ANZ - including joint calls with partners and end customers, key trade shows (Integrate Expo, InfoComm Australia), and regular presence across major cities.
