About the Role
Dandy is hiring an experienced HR leader to join our rapidly growing venture-backed company as HR Director for our Operations and G&A organizations. In this role, you'll serve as the senior strategic people partner to our Finance, Legal, Operations and People teams, shaping how we attract, develop, and retain world-class talent. You'll work directly with leadership to build a high-performance, inclusive culture, lead org design initiatives, and drive people programs that scale with the business.
What You'll Do
Serve as the strategic HR partner to Finance, Legal, Operations and People leaders, aligning people strategy with business objectives
Own org design and workforce planning for the Operations and G&A org, partnering with leadership on headcount, team structures, and hiring priorities
Design and drive performance management programs tailored to the rhythms and needs of operations and G&A teams
Lead talent development initiatives, including manager enablement, career frameworks, and leveling, to support engineer and PM growth
Champion a strong, sustainable culture across the workforce, using data and engagement insights to proactively address org health
Advise on complex employee relations matters and ensure consistent, fair application of policies across the organization
Partner cross-functionally with Recruiting, Total Rewards, and L&D to deliver integrated people programs
What We're Looking For
At least 10 years in HR or People Operations, with significant experience directly supporting manufacturing, corporate and G&A organizations
Deep expertise across core HR disciplines including performance management, org design, Total Rewards, and employee relations
Proven ability to build trusted relationships with senior technical leaders and influence without authority
Strong analytical mindset; comfortable using people data to diagnose issues and measure program impact
Exceptional emotional intelligence and the discretion to handle sensitive matters with care
Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Experience supporting corporate teams at a venture-backed company in hypergrowth
Familiarity with engineering career ladders, technical leveling, or IC/manager dual-track frameworks
Background working with globally distributed organizations
