Chemin builds the data pipelines and reinforcement learning workflows that power autonomous vehicles, robotics, and the next generation of AI agents.
We are looking for a Technical Writer to transform complex AI projects into clear, engaging, and business-focused content. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys learning about emerging technologies and translating technical concepts into content that customers, partners, and industry professionals can easily understand.
This is a fully remote, freelance position, compensated on a per-article basis. You will work closely with our Growth, Marketing, and Technical teams to research topics and projects, and produce high-quality written content for Chemin's website and thought leadership channels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research AI, machine learning, robotics, autonomous vehicles, and data annotation topics to support content development.
- Write case studies that clearly communicate customer challenges, Chemin's approach, measurable outcomes, and business impact.
- Produce technical blog articles, educational explainers, and thought leadership content for enterprise audiences.
- Translate complex AI and operational concepts into clear, engaging, and commercially relevant narratives.
- Collaborate with Growth and Marketing teams to ensure content aligns with Chemin's messaging, tone, and positioning.
- Incorporate feedback from technical reviewers and editors to refine articles before publication.
- Optimise articles for readability, structure, SEO, and digital publishing best practices.
- Source supporting references, statistics, and research where appropriate.
- Maintain consistency across all published content.
Requirements
- Excellent writing and editing skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to understand technical concepts and explain them clearly to non-technical audiences.
- Experience writing long-form articles, case studies, technical blogs, whitepapers, or similar content.
- Strong research skills and the ability to interview stakeholders to gather information independently.
- Able to organise information into clear, logical, and compelling narratives.
- Comfortable working remotely and managing deadlines independently.
- Familiarity with AI, machine learning, robotics, software, SaaS, enterprise technology, or engineering is preferred.
- Experience with tools such as Google Docs, Notion, Grammarly, ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, or similar writing and research tools is an advantage.
- You don’t need to be an AI expert on day one. We’re looking for someone who enjoys researching complex topics, asking thoughtful questions, and turning technical knowledge into content that business audiences can understand.
Bonus Points
- Experience writing B2B technology or AI content.
- Experience interviewing technical teams or subject matter experts.
- Understanding of AI training data, reinforcement learning, robotics, autonomous vehicles, or enterprise AI.
- Portfolio demonstrating technical writing, case studies, or long-form educational content.
- Experience with SEO writing or content optimisation.
Benefits
- Fully remote.
- Freelance / contract engagement.
- Compensation starts from USD 100 to USD 150 per approved article, with higher rates available based on complexity, quality of work, and long-term collaboration.
- Writers typically begin with 2–3 article assignments per month, with opportunities to take on 4–6 articles per month based on performance and business needs.
- Article assignments will include case studies, blog posts, technical explainers, customer stories, industry insights, and research summaries.
