The ideal candidate will have a solid analytical foundation and an interest in product analysis, with enthusiasm for supporting business decisions through data insights. The Product Analyst will work alongside cross-functional teams to help identify trends, support product performance tracking, and contribute to the overall success of our products.
Responsibilities:
- Data Analysis: Support analysis of product data to help identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement, under guidance from senior team members.
- Reporting: Help build and maintain reports and dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and product metrics.
- Insights Generation: Assist in producing insights and recommendations for stakeholders (Product team, Technology team, Customer team, etc.) based on data analysis.
- Collaboration: Work with product managers, engineers, central analytics team and other stakeholders to understand business needs and help translate them into analytical requirements.
- Data Quality: Help ensure the accuracy and integrity of data used for analysis.
- Tool Utilization: Learn and use analytical tools such as Mixpanel and Dataiku to support data-driven decision-making.
- Stakeholder Communication: Communicate data findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, with support from senior colleagues as needed.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- Experience: Some experience (including internships or academic projects) in product analysis or a related area is a plus; strong potential and eagerness to learn are equally valued.
- Technical Skills: Basic proficiency in SQL and Excel; familiarity with data visualization tools such as Mixpanel or Dataiku is a plus. Exposure to Python is a plus.
- Analytical Mindset: Good analytical and problem-solving skills, with a willingness to develop the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Communication: Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings clearly.
- Attention to Detail: Careful and detail-oriented, with a commitment to data accuracy and quality.
- Collaboration: Comfortable working in a cross-functional team environment and eager to learn from others.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with Mixpanel or other data visualization tool
- Basic knowledge of statistical analysis concepts
- Interest in product management principles and practices
