The Role
We’re looking for a Forward Deployed Engineer to join our go-to-market team, and own the technical deployment of Albatross primitives with our customers. You’ll work directly with customer engineering, data, and product teams to take deployments from initial integration through model launch and production. You’ll sit at the intersection of engineering, product, and sales: you’ll understand how a customer’s product works, adapt their data to our platform, configure our models for their use case, and drive the deployment through launch and measurable impact.
After a structured onboarding, proper training and support, you'll be ready to:
- Own customer deployments end-to-end, from technical onboarding and data integration through production launch.
- Act as the main technical point of contact for your customers, working closely with their engineering, data, and product teams, and keeping technical stakeholders aligned throughout a deployment.
- Understand customer use cases, pain points, business objectives, and technical environments to ensure successful deployment.
- Shape clients’ use case, translating business needs into a working technical solution alongside our R&D team.
- Dive into client data to ensure quality and correctness.
- Train and monitor ML models, using metrics and dashboards to track performance and drive impact.
Requirements
- Degree in engineering or computer science.
- Proficiency in Python or another scripting language.
- Strong analytical skills and comfort working with complex datasets.
- Experience in a customer-facing technical role.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to both engineers and non-technical stakeholders.
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment with evolving priorities and partially defined requirements.
- Product and business judgment: you care not only about whether something works, but whether it moves the needle for the customer.
- Fluent English; knowledge of other languages is an advantage.
- Eligible to work in Europe.
Benefits
- Full remote flexibility across Europe.
- Yearly gross salary range € 50k - 60k
