The role
We are looking for a Web Content CMS Specialist who will join the Valtech Global Marketing team and take ownership of day-to-day content integration needs within our global website and CMS.
Your main focus will build and maintain landing pages on the website, making informed decisions about page structure, component selection, content hierarchy, internal linking and user journeys. In this role, you will collaborate closely with content, UX, SEO and web development specialists.
As someone working hands-on in the CMS, you recognize recurring content requirements, identify opportunities or gaps, and collaborate with both content team and web development team to define requirements for new or improved components. You should be able to assess the content needs, identify relevant use cases and contribute to improving website experience.
SEO and website governance are integral to this role, with clear understanding of actions made in the CMS, you are comfortable working with URLs, metadata, redirects, duplicate content, canonization, internal linking, localization, accessibility, discoverabilty and brand consistency.
Role responsibilities
You’ll be working with the Optimizely platform. Here are some of the activities you might be involved in:
- Build and maintain website pages in the CMS based on approved content, wireframes and designs.
- Select and configure the appropriate CMS components to create effective page layouts and user journeys.
- Understand the website's information architecture, content hierarchy and component structure, and apply these consistently when creating or updating pages.
- Collaborate directly with regional marketers, designers, copywriters, web developers and understand common web and content terminology, and concepts relevant to CMS implementation.
