About the project
As a AEM tech lead / architect, you will define the migration strategy and target architecture for moving an on-premises AEM deployment to AEM as a Cloud Service for a large, multi-brand website, lead the team hands-on throughout the migration, and drive the upgrade path toward Java 21.
What you’ll do
- Own the migration architecture and target design on AEM as a Cloud Service (AEMaaCS).
- Define the migration strategy, cutover approach and the Java 21 upgrade path across brands.
- Assess the existing on-prem implementation and plan the move to cloud.
- Lead backend and frontend developers hands-on, setting standards and reviewing code.
- Own performance, security and caching strategy (Dispatcher, CDN) and communicate decisions to the client.
What makes you a great fit
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 8+ Years in software development with strong Java and architecture background.
- 5+ Years hands-on AEM, including AEM as a Cloud Service (AEMaaCS).
- Proven experience leading AEM on-prem to cloud migrations.
- Experience with platform and runtime upgrades (Java 21 a plus).
- Strong technical leadership and solution design;
- AEM Architect / Master certification a plus.
- Advanced English Level is required for this role, as you will work with US clients. Effective communication in English is essential to deliver the best solutions to our clients and expand your horizons.
