We’re seeking a Global Sales & Business Development Lead to drive account strategy, partnerships, and revenue growth for our intellectual property portfolio. This role will lead the global commercial strategy for our IP, shaping how it is positioned, licensed, and monetized across international markets.
You will build and manage a high-performing, globally distributed Sales & Business Development team while working closely with Engineering, Legal, Finance, and executive leadership. You’ll unlock new business opportunities, expand our partner ecosystem, accelerate revenue growth, and ensure our IP delivers meaningful innovation and commercial impact.
This role is remote and based in the United States, with responsibility for supporting a global team and engaging customers and partners across regions and time zones. Travel may be required for customer, partner, and industry engagements.

Who You Are
- An experienced Sales or Business Development leader with 10+ years of experience in IP licensing, semiconductors, hardware, or deep technology ecosystems.
- A proven people leader who has built, managed, and developed high-performing teams across geographies and cultures.
- Deeply knowledgeable about intellectual property strategy, licensing models, commercial partnerships, and the global IP landscape.
- Technically fluent, with the ability to communicate complex technologies and architectures to technical and business audiences.
- Strategic, relationship-driven, and entrepreneurial, with a track record of building pipelines, closing high-value deals, and translating market opportunities into action.
What We Need
- Own and execute the global Sales & Business Development strategy for the company’s IP portfolio, aligned with long-term growth objectives.
- Lead, manage, and scale a globally distributed Sales & Business Development team, establishing goals, operating rhythms, performance expectations, and a culture of accountability.
- Develop account strategies and executive relationships with global technology leaders, including foundries, OEMs, systems companies, design partners, and technology providers.
- Identify, negotiate, and close IP licensing, acquisition, and strategic partnership opportunities across international markets, in collaboration with Engineering, Legal, Finance, Product, and executive leadership.
- Establish a consistent global approach to pipeline development, forecasting, customer engagement, market intelligence, and team development.

Compensation for all engineers at Tenstorrent ranges from $100k - $500k including base and variable compensation targets. Experience, skills, education, background and location all impact the actual offer made.
