The Role
As the Senior Director of Client Management, you will serve as the face of Cedar to our clients. Key areas of focus will be building positive relationships with executive partners, driving strategy around partnership expansion opportunities, and collaborating with internal partners from different departments to execute on client strategies. This is not a management position.
Responsibilities
- Own and drive client strategy: Develop and execute tailored account strategies that align client goals with Cedar’s business objectives, ensuring long-term partnership success.
- Serve as a trusted advisor: Build strong, consultative relationships with C-suite and VP-level client stakeholders, understanding their business challenges and positioning Cedar’s solutions effectively.
- Leverage data and insights: Use analytics and storytelling to demonstrate value, identify optimization opportunities, and support renewals and expansions.
- Collaborate cross-functionally: Partner with Sales, Product, Commercial Strategy, and Operations to deliver seamless client experiences and identify growth opportunities.
- Influence and advocate: Navigate complex client organizations and internal teams to resolve issues, negotiate contracts, and drive outcomes that balance client needs and company goals.
- Represent Cedar leadership: Prepare executives for client engagements and ensure alignment across senior stakeholders internally and externally.
Skills & Experience
- 7 -10 years of experience in account management, sales, business development and/or consulting
- Proven track record of building VP-level and above relationships with health system partners
- Experience securing contract renewals and/or expansions
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience and strong interest in the healthcare tech industry
- Ability to go deep to understand and speak to product capabilities
- Demonstrates a self-starter mentality
- Experience working with several internal partners across departments such as product, engineering, and marketing
Compensation Range and Benefits
- Salary Range*: in CA, NY, NJ, CT, WA: $144,500 - $170,000
- Salary Range*: NOT in CA, NY, NJ, CT, WA: $130,100 - $153,500
- This role is also eligible for bonus and equity.
- This role offers a competitive benefits and wellness package.
