About the Role
TeleMed2U is seeking an experienced Virtual Endocrinology Physician Assistant to join our growing, multi‑specialty telehealth practice. This role focuses on the evaluation, diagnosis, and management of endocrine and metabolic conditions through a fully remote platform. The ideal candidate is clinically confident, patient‑focused, and comfortable delivering care in a virtual environment.
What you'll do
- Provide virtual outpatient care to adult patients with endocrine and metabolic conditions, including:
- Diabetes (Type 1, Type 2, gestational follow‑up)
- Thyroid disorders
- Osteoporosis and metabolic bone disease
- Obesity and weight management
- Adrenal and pituitary disorders
- Dyslipidemia
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments via video visits
- Develop, implement, and adjust treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians as required by CA regulations
- Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic studies
- Provide patient education and counseling focused on lifestyle, medication adherence, and disease management
- Document clinical encounters accurately and timely in the EMR
- Coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams and refer patients as clinically appropriate
- Adhere to all telehealth best practices, clinical protocols, and compliance requirements
Qualifications
- CA Licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) in good standing.
- Minimum 2 years of Endocrinology experience in outpatient or telehealth settings.
- Strong communication and clinical documentation skills.
- Comfortable practicing autonomously in a remote care environment.
- Reliable internet connection and familiarity with telemedicine technology.
