Location: Remote with Potential for On-Site
Clearance Level: Secret or Clearable
Years of Experience/Degree/Certification Expectations
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution: OR 4 years of related experience (in addition to the minimum years of experience required) may be substituted in lieu of degree
- At least 10 years’ experience in technical product management or product marketing/sales
- At least 7 years’ experience in managing CI/CD products
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or Software Engineering
- Experience managing cloud software development and API technologies
- Certified Scrum Product Owner certification
Specific Position/Technical Requirements
- Expert experience in analyzing business requirements and translating them into an actionable units of work for the development team
- Experience communicating sophisticated ideas, anticipating potential objections, and persuading others, often at senior levels, to adopt a different point of view
- Exceptional verbal and written communication and project/program leadership skills, including the ability to communicate effectively at the senior most executive levels of the Department of the Air Force
- Ability to lead and influence a balanced cross-functional team to execute against a vision
- Ability to tell a compelling story for audiences of all levels including senior executives
- Ability to document and package detailed operational requirements and experiences
- Establish a product’s vision, strategy, outcome-driven roadmap, and product backlog
- Communicate the vision, strategy, roadmap, and backlog to different audiences with a tailored message
- Define and track product metrics in order to demonstrate success and inform product decisions
- Work with other teams within a well-defined portfolio to deliver cross-product value
- Generate assumptions, design experiments, and collect data to de-risk product decisions
- Write user stories and manage a continuously updated backlog
Salary Range: $100,000 - $270,000
