Technical Product Marketing Manager

About Numa

Numa is building the platform to power AI-native dealerships, rearchitecting automotive service and sales with advanced AI agents that automate customer interactions, streamline operations, and reimagine how dealerships work. Numa integrates AI into every aspect of dealership functions, from rescuing customer calls and voicemails that generate more revenue, to reducing customer resolution times to drive overall customer satisfaction (CSI), to improving dealership team productivity and accountability. Numa has raised $50 million from leading investors (Google, Threshold, Costanoa, Mitsui, and Touring Capital).

The Role

We’re hiring our Technical Product Marketing Manager to be Product’s go-to-market counterpart from roadmap through launch, and the person who makes sure Customer Success, Sales, and Product are genuinely ready every time a release ships. This is a technical seat that sits in Marketing: you’ll work close to engineering, get hands-on with the product, and translate what we’re building into positioning and enablement that lands in the market and in the field.

You’ll play a central role in the go-to-market strategy behind each launch: positioning, messaging, competitive differentiation, and target-segment definition. You’ll shape it in close collaboration with other members of our marketing team, who own brand voice and the master narrative, and with Product, Sales, and Customer Success. Think of yourself as the clean handoff between what Product builds and how the market and our field teams understand it. Done well, a launch is something Product, Customer Success, and Sales feel ready for and proud of.

What You’ll Do

  • Drive launch go-to-market strategy for a product suite, in partnership with the broader team: positioning, messaging, competitive differentiation, and target-segment definition within our core Ideal Customer Profile (ICP)
  • Partner deeply with Product through the roadmap and build cycle. That means sitting in on sprint reviews, using the product yourself, and spending real time with Performance Architects, Regional Sales Managers, and Solutions Engineers, including visits to the dealership
  • Create launch enablement that Customer Success and Sales rely on: positioning briefs, product requirement inputs, and the core collateral used to sell and support every release
  • Drive launch readiness across the org (Customer Success first, then Sales, then Product) by tracking certification and readiness against committed dates and escalating early when something is at risk
  • Build the launch playbook as you go: repeatable steps, aligned stakeholders, and clear communication channels that scale as Numa grows
  • Work AI-native by using AI tooling and writing light scripts and automations yourself to generate content, track readiness, and take repetitive work off your own plate
  • Protect real lead time by pushing for sufficient runway between product ideation and launch across the whole cross-functional group

What You Bring

  • 4+ years of product marketing experience, ideally at an early-stage or high-growth company, where you’ve owned launches end-to-end
  • Technical fluency close to engineering: you can read code, write a script, call an API, and use AI coding tools (Cursor, Claude Code, Copilot) comfortably. You don’t need to ship production code, but you should hold your own with engineers and PMs and translate complex AI features for technical and non-technical audiences alike
  • Cross-functional range: you’ve aligned product, sales, and marketing strategy before, and you know how to pick up someone else’s thinking and carry it to market without dropping it
  • Strong, targeted writing for positioning briefs, product requirement inputs, and competitive battlecards
  • Comfort with ambiguity: shifting inputs and an evolving process energize you; you build structure as you go rather than waiting for it to be handed to you

Nice To Have

  • Experience marketing technical or AI products to both technical and business audiences
  • Background in solutions engineering, developer relations, or a technical/product role with go-to-market instincts
  • Experience building a launch or go-to-market process from scratch, not just running an existing one
  • Familiarity with the automotive, dealership, or vertical SaaS space

What Success Looks Like

  • Launches ship on time with Customer Success, Sales, and Product genuinely ready, with no fire drills
  • Positioning and enablement are clear, credible, and actually used by the field
  • A repeatable, well-understood launch process takes shape and scales with the company
  • Engineers and PMs treat you as a credible technical partner from day one

Why Join Numa

  • A central role in go-to-market strategy: launch work that plugs directly into the company narrative, not a downstream enablement job
  • A chance to define how launches work at a fast-growing company from the ground up
  • Be part of an industry leader named the #1 fastest-growing AI Automotive company by Inc. 5000

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary: $135,000 - $165,000
  • Equity Package
  • Health, dental, and vision benefits
  • 401(k) plan
  • Flexible PTO

At Numa, you’ll help bring game-changing technology to an industry ready for innovation. If you love working close to the product, thrive in fast-moving environments, and want to own how great products reach the market, we’d love to hear from you.
