Instructure's Implementation Consultants are responsible for managing multiple, fast-paced implementations of Instructure products across Canada. You will need strong project management skills, a deep understanding of our software (either currently held or quickly learned), and a passion for delivering the best possible customer experience. This position is remote.
What you will be doing
Manage implementation projects of standard complexity.
Assume the role of a customer’s trusted advisor during implementation.
Assist in defining project scope and customer objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
Maintain detailed project plans to monitor and track progress, keeping all team members accountable for progress on assigned tasks.
Collaborate with Instructure’s CSM and engineering team to create XML document overlays.
Manage expectations with customers and internal resources.
Guide customers through technical requirements for SSO, API, and XML integrations.
Ensure all projects are delivered on time and within scope.
Track and manage milestones and tasks in Salesforce to support revenue recognition.
Report and escalate potential risks or issues to management as needed.
Deliver implementations in both English and French Canadian languages.
What you will need to know/have
Solid foundation in project management, technical support, and/or customer success (minimum 3 years).
Experience with project management methodologies (CAPM or PMP preferred, but not required).
Ability to rapidly identify options and develop a path forward when presented with customer challenges.
Experience translating technical concepts to non-technical users.
Exceptional organizational and communication skills (written, verbal, and presentational), plus obsessive attention to detail.
Ability to both give and take direction constructively, work effectively individually or as part of a team, and maintain a positive, collaborative attitude.
Bachelor’s degree in any field (or 5+ years relevant experience).
Ability to communicate effectively in English and Canadian French.
Understanding of SaaS and APIs.
Experience in the LMS industry, educational technology, and/or a fast-paced technical environment.
