As a Data Architect at Creative Chaos, you will be responsible for designing, building, and managing the data architecture of our organization. You will work closely with stakeholders, data scientists, and engineers to develop scalable and efficient data solutions. Your expertise in data modeling, database design, and data integration will be crucial in ensuring the effective storage, retrieval, and analysis of data across various systems. You will also play a key role in setting up data governance policies and best practices to ensure data quality, security, and compliance.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop data models and database schemas
- Define data integration and data migration strategies
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Optimize database performance and ensure scalability
- Implement data governance policies and data quality standards
- Ensure data security and compliance with relevant regulations
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in data management
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior team members
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field
- Atleast 8-10 years of relevant experience as a Data Architect or in a similar role.
- Proven experience in Apache, Cloudera and Data Analysis.
- Experience in designing Data banks, building data models and data mapping
- In-depth knowledge of data modeling, database design, and data integration techniques
- Proficiency in SQL and database management systems (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL)
- Familiarity with data governance and data quality frameworks
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Experience with cloud-based data technologies (GCP) is preferred.
