Job Summary:
As the Manager of IT Infrastructure at Creative Chaos, you will oversee the organization's IT infrastructure, ensuring a secure, efficient, and scalable environment. You will be responsible for leading a team of IT professionals, managing infrastructure projects, and supporting the overall IT strategy aligned with business goals.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage, mentor, and lead the IT infrastructure team to ensure reliability and performance of all IT systems.
- Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of the IT infrastructure, including servers, storage, networks, and cloud environments.
- Develop and implement infrastructure policies, procedures, and best practices to maintain high levels of security and compliance.
- Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement improvements.
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for infrastructure products and services.
- Ensure effective disaster recovery and data backup procedures are in place for all systems.
- Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to align infrastructure capabilities with business needs.
- Oversee infrastructure budgets, monitoring expenditures, and optimizing resource use.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technological advancements to ensure infrastructure is modern and effective.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven experience with infrastructure technologies such as servers, storage, networking, and cloud platforms.
- Strong understanding of security protocols and compliance standards
- Experience implementing and managing G Suite, Slack, password manager, Atlassian products, CMS tools, and Google Analytics.
- Excellent project management skills and experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with a focus on team development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, Cisco, AWS, VMware) are a plus.
