- Complete Judicial Council forms and other forms commonly used in California civil litigation
- Calendar, monitor, and proactively track litigation deadlines, court dates, discovery due dates, and other case milestones
- Prepare discovery documents and assist attorneys with drafting, organizing, and finalizing discovery responses
- Draft demand letters, legal correspondence, and other case-related documents
- Maintain organized case files, medical records, billing summaries, exhibits, and supporting documentation
- Prepare and organize documents and exhibits for hearings, depositions, mediations, and trial
- Conduct client interviews and coordinate document and records collection
- Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, courts, medical providers, insurance adjusters, experts, and vendors
- Support attorneys with trial preparation and case strategy while anticipating upcoming needs across an active caseload
Requirements

- Experience calendaring and tracking litigation deadlines with a high degree of accuracy
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with clients, attorneys, courts, and outside parties
- Ability to work proactively, independently, and with strong attention to detail across multiple active cases
Nice to Have:
- Prior experience as a legal assistant, litigation assistant, or paralegal in a civil litigation practice
- Experience with California civil litigation and Judicial Council forms
