Our client is currently seeking a VP of Engineering who will help scale the company's technology organization, drive architectural evolution, strengthen engineering culture, and serve as a trusted partner to the business.

Team
A distributed engineering organization of more than 300 professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with the CTO to define and execute the company's technology strategy
- Lead an engineering organization of 300+ professionals (15 direct reports), while scaling and optimizing processes
- Ensure the right balance between delivery speed and solution quality
- Drive the adoption of best practices in software architecture and engineering excellence
- Oversee the reliability, security, and scalability of the platform
- Contribute to product roadmap planning and technical risk assessment
- Recruit, develop, and mentor engineering leaders
Requirements
Candidate Profile
- 10+ years of experience in IT, including roles such as Software Engineer and Architect
- At least 5 years of experience in senior technical leadership positions (VP of Engineering, Head of Development, CTO, or equivalent)
- Proven experience working with microservices architectures and high-load systems
- Strong track record of building, scaling, and leading engineering organizations
- Strategic mindset with excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with C-level executives and product teams
- Solid understanding of security, performance, and reliability principles in distributed systems
- Hands-on software development background
- English proficiency at Upper-Intermediate level or higher
Nice to Have
- Experience in SaaS companies operating high-load or real-time products
- Participation in designing architecture from scratch or leading large-scale architectural transformations
- Experience with B2B products in industries such as fintech, gametech, or adtech
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms and modern DevOps/SRE practices
