About the Role
Our client is a Big4 Consultancy group that works with leading financial institutions on AI-driven transformation, automation, advanced analytics, and financial crime prevention. Their work spans intelligent fraud detection, AML/KYC modernization, autonomous workflows, enterprise AI platforms, and the secure industrialization of AI in highly regulated environments.
We are looking for Senior Business Analysts to translate complex insurance business needs into clear functional requirements for AI delivery. The role will act as a key interface between business stakeholders and technical squads, with a focus on use-case definition, workflow analysis, automation opportunities, requirements engineering, and UAT.
CONTRACT: Contractor assignment, expected October 2026 – July 2027, with extension (retainer fee)
COMMITMENT: Full-time
LOCATIONS: REMOTE in EU or EU authorized.
PROCESS: Initial qualification followed by technical and client interviews
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with insurance business units to identify, prioritize, and define high-impact AI use cases.
- Translate complex business problems and legacy insurance rules into detailed functional requirements.
- Create clear user stories, process definitions, and business acceptance criteria.
- Map and analyze end-to-end insurance workflows to identify automation and optimization opportunities.
- Facilitate requirement workshops and collaborative design sessions between business and technical teams.
- Act as the bridge between business stakeholders, data/AI teams, and engineering squads.
- Define objective UAT criteria and validate delivered AI capabilities against business expectations.
- Conduct gap analyses between new AI capabilities and existing customer-facing processes and channels.
- Support prioritization, scope clarification, and requirement refinement throughout delivery.
- Ensure business requirements remain aligned with operational, regulatory, and customer needs.
Requirements
- Approximately 5–10 years of professional Business Analysis experience.
- Strong experience working in the insurance industry.
- Proven experience translating complex business rules into functional requirements and user stories.
- Strong experience with process mapping, workflow analysis, and business-process optimization.
- Experience facilitating requirements workshops with both business and technical stakeholders.
- Hands-on experience defining UAT criteria and supporting business validation.
- Experience working on digital transformation, automation, data, or AI-related delivery initiatives.
- Fluent professional English.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with insurance claims, underwriting, policy administration, customer service, or related core insurance processes.
- Experience working with legacy insurance platforms and complex business-rule environments.
- Exposure to AI, automation, analytics, or intelligent workflow transformation.
- Experience working across distributed or multi-squad delivery environments.
