Summary As the VC Partnerships Manager based in San Francisco, you’ll be responsible for the successful implementation of our strategic partnerships with Early Stage Venture Capital Firms & Accelerators across North America with the goal of increasing adoption of Deel among startups. In this quota-carrying position you will have direct responsibility for driving pipeline and revenue growth through your partnerships. The successful candidate will be goal-oriented, embedded in the startup ecosystem with a strong network across founders, VCs, and accelerators, and have significant experience managing external relationships and collaborating with internal teams. Responsibilities Venture Capital firms: Partner with select venture firms to extend Deel’s reach, support their portfolio companies, and create joint engagement opportunities. Accelerators and Ecosystem partners: Own the day-to-day relationship with Accelerator and Incubator program teams and related ecosystem partners, ensuring Deel is positioned as the go-to global hiring and payroll partner Founder Engagement: Act as the first point of contact for portfolio companies, educating founders on Deel’s solutions, answering questions, and connecting them with the right internal teams Quota Ownership: Consistently meet or exceed quota by generating pipeline and revenue from accelerator and venture-backed startups Outbound Relationship Building: Develop new founder, accelerator, and venture contacts and build a self-sustaining network of evangelists Events & Touchpoints: Represent Deel at demo days, founder dinners, alumni mixers, and venture/accelerator ecosystem events, deepening relationships and driving visibility Co-Marketing Campaigns: Ideate and execute campaigns tailored to founders (office hours, workshops, content, events) in coordination with partners and internal teams Partnership Growth: Identify opportunities within accelerator and venture ecosystems to expand Deel’s reach and influence Performance Tracking: Maintain and report on key program metrics including founder engagement, pipeline generation, and revenue conversion Qualifications 5+ years of experience in growth, partnerships, sales, platform or investing, ideally within startups, accelerators, venture capital, or tech firms focused on startup-facing initiatives Authentic relationship-building skills and extremely self-motivated and success-driven Deep experience in a customer or partner-facing role, with a track record of top performance A passion for technology, start-ups, and supporting other businesses as they grow Demonstrated analytical skills, particularly the ability to measure program impact/success Excellent written and spoken English, with strong storytelling skills to engage founders and partners A proactive and highly independent self-starter and who works well in a high-growth environment where things change quickly Strong collaborator across sales, marketing and product teams Subject matter expertise on global people operations is a plus Experience as a founder, at an accelerator or venture capital firm is a plus A strong network across venture capital firms and accelerators is a plus Based in San Francisco Application Deadline for U.S. Applicants: Recruiting timelines vary by position, however, all Deel positions accept applications for a minimum of 5 days from the posting date listed herein.
