The Storytelling Communications Manager will lead Deel’s global storytelling communications, leveraging first-party data, executive insights, industry trends, and thought leadership to reach Deel’s key audiences. You will leverage these resources to create a unique point of view for Deel and its executives across social media, traditional press, and new media publications. The role will include ownership of DeelWorks, Deel’s digital future of work publication, and creation of data reports, like the Global Hiring Report. In this role, you will leverage industry trends, breaking news, and hot topics, alongside Deel data, to position Deel as a thought leader in broader industry conversations. Sitting at the intersection of media relations, social strategy, and thought leadership, you will help the team transform high-quality analytics and market trends into distinctive, relevant stories, while building strong relationships with HR, workplace, business, and other key industry press. Responsibilities Lead communications for Deel’s global industry, thought leadership, and first-party data storytelling, with a particular focus on North America Execute high-impact, creative and time-sensitive (newsjacking) external communications moments that translate Deel’s point of view and data trends into clear, compelling narratives Translate complex industry and data topics into clear, engaging content for a range of audiences, including new media, social, traditional press, customers, executives, and the broader HR and business community Create blog posts, social content, creative and visual materials, and executive communications for key moments Partner with the data team to build a quarterly editorial calendar and consistent external narrative around Deel’s proprietary data and insights, including DeelWorks, Deel reports, and other first-party data, using those insights to create timely industry and thought leadership stories Partner closely with Deel’s C-suite, data, and editorial teams to shape narratives and support key launches.
