The Role
This is a 1099 Independent Contractor position following the school district's calendar. Immediate start dates depend on available placements once you've completed the application process.
As a Fullmind Speech Pathologist, you will:
- Deliver engaging, high-quality speech and language instruction in a virtual classroom, building the same rapport and momentum an in-person therapist would
- Evaluate students' speech and language levels and translate findings into clear, actionable goals
- Design and carry out individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's IEP
- Document sessions and track progress toward IEP goals with the rigor districts require
- Partner with school-based staff, teachers, case managers, and administrators, to keep everyone aligned on student progress
Requirements
- A master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology and a valid professional license from the Minnesota Professional Educator Licensing and Standards Board.
- Must be in good standing with no disciplinary actions on any license held
- Experience with tele-health platforms for assessment and therapy delivery in a school/IEP context
- Reliable, FERPA-compliant technology setup: webcam, headset, stable high-speed internet, private/distraction-free workspace.
- Comfort collaborating remotely with classroom teachers, case managers, and families
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
