Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior IT Business Analyst to join our team supporting an Intraday Liquidity Management System, which enables bank-wide intraday cash projections, liquidity monitoring, and reporting.
The ideal candidate will have strong domain expertise in Liquidity Management, Financial Markets, Payments, or Cash Management, combined with excellent analytical, functional, and technical skills. The candidate should be comfortable working across business, technology, vendor, and change-management teams in a complex banking environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand, scope, and document requirements and propose feasible solutions aligned with business objectives.
- Work closely with Technology, Vendors, Business, and Change teams to understand end-to-end system architecture, implementation, integrations, and liquidity processes.
- Perform data analysis on large datasets to identify business impacts, data gaps, and technology-change requirements.
- Prepare detailed Business Requirements Documents (BRD), Functional Specifications, process flows, and solution designs.
- Present solution designs, functional requirements, and system architectures clearly to technical and senior business stakeholders.
- Define cost-effective technology solutions that meet business requirements and comply with applicable banking regulations and regulatory standards.
- Support all phases of the project lifecycle, including requirements analysis, solution design, testing strategy, data migration, implementation, release planning, and post-production support.
- Drive simplified, consolidated, and scalable technology and integration architectures.
- Identify dependencies, risks, impacts, and opportunities for process and technology improvements.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key business, technology, vendor, and senior management stakeholders.
- Provide clear, concise, and timely communication on project status, risks, issues, dependencies, and key decisions.
- Work independently in complex environments involving multiple systems, teams, and dependencies.
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst / System Analyst / IT Business Analyst within Liquidity, Financial Markets, Payments, Cash Management, or Banking.
- Strong understanding of Intraday Liquidity Management and cash-flow/liquidity processes.
- Good knowledge of applicable regulatory requirements and global liquidity regulatory mandates.
- Strong experience in data sourcing, data mapping, data lineage, and integration across multiple upstream/downstream data frameworks.
- Experience working with large-scale system upgrades, transformation, re-engineering, and technology migration initiatives.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with experience handling large datasets.
- Ability to translate complex business requirements into clear functional and technical specifications.
- Strong stakeholder-management and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities independently and deliver outcomes in complex banking environments.
Technical Skills
- SQL / PL-SQL – hands-on experience.
- Unix/Linux and shell scripting.
- Data analysis and data reconciliation.
- Knowledge of Enterprise Technology tools and platforms.
- Understanding of system integrations, data flows, APIs, and enterprise architecture.
- Experience supporting testing, data migration, implementation, and production releases.
Desirable Skills
- Working knowledge or experience with SAP LMS / SAP Liquidity Management.
- Exposure to SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC).
- Experience with automation tools and automation-driven process improvements.
- Knowledge of data visualization / BI tools.
- Previous experience as a Software Developer is an advantage.
- Exposure to banking platforms, payment systems, treasury, or financial-market applications.
