Trinetix is looking for a skilled Business Analyst / Product Owner with strong expertise in SCRUM and Agile delivery practices. The role combines business analysis and product ownership responsibilities, including defining and prioritizing product requirements, managing the backlog, and translating business needs into clear, actionable user stories and solutions.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Product Owner, or in a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of SCRUM methodology and practical experience working in Agile environments
  • Advanced English level, with strong communication skills in a professional environment
  • Proven experience collaborating with stakeholders, development teams, and product leadership
  • Experience managing and prioritizing product backlogs based on business value and priorities
  • Experience with backlog refinement, defining acceptance criteria, and writing clear, actionable user stories
  • Ability to translate business needs into functional and technical requirements
  • Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience working with tools such as Azure DevOps, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Excel, Confluence or SharePoint, and Miro

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience owning a product backlog or acting as a Product Owner
  • Legal domain knowledge or experience working on legal-related products or projects
  • Experience supporting or leading sprint planning and other Agile ceremonies
  • Understanding of the product development lifecycle and software development processes
  • Understanding of technical terminology and ability to communicate effectively with development teams
  • Experience working in cross-functional, distributed teams
  • Familiarity with enterprise-level workflows or large-scale Agile environments

Core Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with stakeholders, product leadership, and development teams to understand business needs and define product requirements
  • Own and maintain the product backlog, ensuring requirements are clearly defined, prioritized, and aligned with business goals
  • Lead and facilitate backlog refinement sessions and support effective sprint planning
  • Define clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and requirements that are actionable for development teams
  • Prioritize requirements based on business value, stakeholder needs, dependencies, and delivery priorities
  • Translate business needs into functional and technical requirements while maintaining alignment between business and engineering teams
  • Support product decision-making by identifying gaps, dependencies, risks, and opportunities
  • Facilitate communication and alignment across stakeholders and cross-functional teams
  • Maintain product and requirements documentation using tools such as Azure DevOps, Confluence/SharePoint, Miro, etc.
  • Support Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement of the product development process
