The listing
ActivTrak is looking for a Lifecycle Marketing Manager to develop and execute programs that help enterprise customers adopt our solutions, realize measurable value and expand their use of the ActivTrak platform.
You will manage customer lifecycle programs spanning onboarding, adoption, expansion, renewal and re-engagement. Working within the broader lifecycle strategy, you’ll translate customer needs, product usage signals and business priorities into scalable, relevant experiences that encourage the right customer behaviors at the right moments.
This is a hands-on individual-contributor role for someone who can turn strategy into effective programs while partnering closely with Customer Success, Product Marketing, PLG, Sales, Marketing Operations and other teams.
Execute customer lifecycle programs
- Build and manage programs across onboarding, adoption, value realization, expansion, renewal, and re-engagement
- Map customer journeys and identify important milestones, behaviors, and communication opportunities
- Translate lifecycle priorities into campaigns, workflows, and customer experiences
- Maintain and optimize always-on customer programs
Drive adoption and customer value
- Develop onboarding, education and adoption campaigns aligned to customer needs and use cases
- Increase awareness and usage of relevant products, features, integrations and services
- Partner with Product Marketing, PLG and Customer Success to turn product and customer insights into targeted communications
- Help customers understand and communicate the value they receive from ActivTrak
Support retention and expansion
- Build programs that strengthen customer engagement and support renewal readiness
- Develop cross-sell and upsell campaigns based on customer needs, product usage, account signals and growth potential
- Create re-engagement programs for customers showing declining adoption or engagement
- Partner with Sales, Customer Success and PLG on coordinated customer growth initiatives
Create more relevant customer experiences
- Segment customers by lifecycle stage, use case, persona, product adoption, account characteristics and maturity
- Use behavioral and account signals to improve the timing and relevance of customer communications
- Test messaging, audiences, channels, timing, and journey structure to improve performance
- Explore responsible ways to use AI to support personalization and program efficiency
Measure and improve performance
- Define program goals and success measures in partnership with lifecycle leadership, Marketing Operations and Analytics
- Track performance across email engagement, activation, adoption, expansion activity, retention indicators and lifecycle progression
- Use program results and customer insights to identify opportunities for improvement
- Share performance, learnings and recommendations with cross-functional partners
Requirements
Your experience
- 5 years of experience in lifecycle marketing, customer marketing or growth marketing related to a B2B SaaS role
- Experience developing and executing email campaigns, nurture programs or automated customer journeys
- Understanding of the SaaS customer lifecycle and the factors that influence adoption, retention and expansion
- Experience using customer, account or behavioral data to create segmented communications
- Ability to manage programs from planning through launch, measurement and optimization
- Strong project-management and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Excellent written communication and campaign-development skills
- A data-informed mindset and interest in understanding how marketing programs influence customer behavior
- Familiarity with marketing automation, CRM, customer engagement or analytics platforms
