About this Role

We're looking for a Growth Lead to own and drive growth across a portfolio of Valerie's ecommerce brands. You'll be accountable for identifying, prioritising, and executing the opportunities that can materially change the trajectory of the brands you own — across acquisition, conversion, creative, Amazon, TikTok, content, creators, and new growth channels.

You'll work closely with the POD Performance, Creative, and Project leads, as well as Product, Data, Brand, Affiliates, and Partnerships teams, to turn growth opportunities into measurable outcomes. You'll be expected to understand the numbers, challenge assumptions, make the hard calls, and stay close enough to execution to know what is actually happening.

Success in this role isn't measured by the number of campaigns launched or ideas generated; it's measured by how effectively you scale the brands, deliver against growth forecasts, identify breakthrough opportunities, and turn insights and experiments into meaningful revenue and business growth.

You could be a great fit if...

  • You naturally think like an owner and take accountability for the growth of the brands you work on.

  • You are comfortable moving between strategy and execution, getting into the detail when required without losing sight of the bigger picture.

  • You enjoy finding the few opportunities that could materially change a brand's growth trajectory and know how to prioritise them.

  • You understand how paid media, Amazon, creative, content, creators, affiliates, product, and brand work together to drive growth.

  • You are highly commercially minded and comfortable making decisions around revenue, budgets, conversion, profitability, and growth forecasts.

  • You proactively identify problems, opportunities, and trends rather than waiting for someone else to surface them.

  • You are comfortable challenging senior stakeholders and making difficult decisions when the data or business requires it.

  • You thrive in environments where experimentation, speed, and changing priorities are part of the job.

  • You have strong instincts around social platforms and understand what makes content and trends translate into customer acquisition.

  • You enjoy working closely with creators, affiliates, influencers, and partners to find new growth opportunities.

  • You can translate complex data and customer insights into clear decisions and actions for your teams.

  • You are curious about AI, automation, and emerging technology and look for ways to use them to improve how growth teams operate.

  • You bring resilience, optimism, and sound judgement, particularly when experiments don't work or growth plans need to change.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in digital, performance marketing, growth, or ecommerce.

  • 2+ years of experience scaling a brand or owning growth for a business, product, or portfolio.

  • Proven experience driving growth across DTC/ecommerce brands, with clear ownership of commercial or conversion outcomes.

  • Strong understanding of acquisition, conversion, retention, and ecommerce growth economics.

  • Deep understanding of paid media and the role of Meta, TikTok, Amazon, and other acquisition channels within a broader growth strategy.

  • Strong experience developing and executing growth experiments across paid media, creative, content, landing pages, audiences, offers, and channels.

  • Strong commercial and analytical skills, with the ability to work with revenue, CAC, ROAS, MER, LTV, contribution margin, growth forecasts, and profitability.

  • Strong understanding of Amazon and its role in ecommerce growth, including content, advertising, customer behaviour, and conversion.

  • Strong understanding of social platforms, particularly TikTok, and current content, creator, and consumer trends.

  • Experience working with content creators, affiliates, influencers, and brand partners to support acquisition and growth.

  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally with Performance, Creative, Project, Product, Data, Brand, Affiliates, and Partnerships teams.

  • Excellent communication, organisational, and decision-making skills.

  • Ability to lead and influence senior stakeholders while maintaining strong relationships across teams.

  • Strong working knowledge of tools including Google Workspace, Sheets, Slides, Drive, Canva, ClickUp, and similar platforms.

  • Genuine interest in AI, automation, and emerging technologies and their application to growth.

Bonus Points

  • Experience scaling multiple ecommerce brands or managing a multi-brand portfolio.

  • Experience across international markets, particularly the US and Middle East.

  • Strong Amazon experience, including scaling Amazon revenue and advertising performance.

  • Experience growing brands through TikTok, TikTok Shop, TikTok Live, or emerging social platforms.

  • Experience building relationships with creators, affiliates, influencers, or talent at scale.

  • Experience working across both agency and brand-side environments.

  • Experience working in founder-led startups or high-growth businesses.

  • Experience working closely with Product, Engineering, or Data Science teams on growth products or platforms.

  • Experience with AI agents, prompt engineering, workflow automation, or AI-enabled growth systems.

  • Experience building growth playbooks, experimentation frameworks, or operating systems across multiple brands.

You probably shouldn't apply if...

  • You prefer owning one channel rather than being accountable for the broader growth of a business.

  • You see growth as a marketing function rather than a commercial responsibility.

  • You are uncomfortable getting into the detail of campaigns, creative, data, or customer behaviour when needed.

  • You rely on others to identify opportunities rather than proactively finding where growth can come from.

  • You generate ideas without being comfortable owning their execution and commercial outcome.

  • You are uncomfortable making difficult decisions when data, priorities, or business conditions change.

  • You prefer environments where your responsibilities are narrowly defined and priorities rarely shift.

  • You struggle to challenge stakeholders or hold teams accountable when something isn't working.

  • You are uncomfortable with ambiguity, experimentation, or the possibility that an approach may fail.

  • You focus on short-term channel metrics without understanding the broader impact on revenue, profitability, and brand growth.
