About Us
HireHawk connects skilled professionals around the world with U.S. and Canadian companies building high-performing remote teams. We believe strong operations talent should be able to do meaningful work from anywhere, with clear expectations, structured support, and opportunities to grow alongside the companies they support.
For this role, you will support a B2B import/export and supply chain operation serving customers across international markets, including Latin America.
About the Role
As a Logistics Coordinator, you will support the Operations team across logistics, procurement, claims, inventory movements, and customer order workflows. You will coordinate domestic and international shipments, maintain accurate records, review shipping documentation, and help ensure goods move from order through final delivery without unnecessary delays.
This role is heavily email-based, so strong professional written communication is essential. You will work with carriers, freight forwarders, warehouses, suppliers, internal teams, and Spanish-speaking customers while keeping information accurate and stakeholders updated.
This is a strong fit for someone who already understands B2B logistics and wants a remote role with broad exposure to international supply chain operations.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic and international shipments with carriers, freight forwarders, warehouses, and other logistics providers
- Track shipments from dispatch through final delivery and proactively flag delays, exceptions, or missed delivery milestones
- Keep suppliers, warehouses, drivers, customers, and internal teams updated with clear and timely shipment communications
- Prepare, review, and validate shipping documents including bills of lading, packing lists, commercial invoices, and customs documentation
- Identify and escalate discrepancies involving weights, quantities, shipping records, documentation, or delivery details
- Coordinate final-mile delivery requirements and help resolve issues that could prevent successful customer delivery
- Receive, review, process, and report on product quality claims and shipment-related discrepancies
- Manage inventory transfers and warehouse logistics while maintaining accurate movement records
- Enter customer orders and maintain order information in the company’s Order Management and ERP systems
- Prepare recurring and ad hoc logistics, order, claims, and shipment reports for the Operations team
Requirements
Must-Have:
- 1-3+ years of experience in logistics, shipping, supply chain, transportation, or a closely related operations role
- Experience working in a B2B logistics or import/export environment with international shipments
- Hands-on experience coordinating domestic and international shipments
- Working knowledge of shipping documentation such as bills of lading, packing lists, commercial invoices, and customs paperwork
- Fluent written English with strong professional email communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and experience following structured processes and SOPs
Nice to Have:
- Experience coordinating shipments involving Asia, Mexico, or Latin America
- Experience processing logistics claims, product quality claims, shipment discrepancies, or documentation exceptions
- Experience reviewing mismatches involving quantities, weights, invoices, or shipment documentation
- Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills
- Experience using ERP, Order Management, inventory, or logistics tracking systems
