Role Overview
The Ad Operations Specialist will drive trafficking, QA, and launch readiness for clients across Google Ads, Meta, TikTok, and other platforms.
This role will prepare campaigns for a clean handoff, monitor and flag anomalies, and help the team course-correct quickly. The Ad Operations Specialist will also help shape ad operations playbooks, tools, and workflows as the function grows.

Fully Remote | 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM EST
Key Responsibilities
Trafficking & Setup
Build campaigns for 6+ clients using established naming, specifications, and flighting.
Map audiences, placements, and tracking parameters across Meta, TikTok, Reddit, Google Ads, and other platforms.
Quality Assurance
Validate creatives, sizes and durations, click-through paths, UTMs, and basic tag and pixel firing in staging.
Conduct QA before and after campaign handoff.
Confirm platform policy compliance to avoid rejections.
Launch Handoff
Prepare trafficking sheets and checklists.
Coordinate with channel leads who will set campaigns live.
Monitoring & Escalation
Monitor pacing, delivery, and disapprovals.
Triage issues including creative rejections, under-delivery, and tracking issues.
Flag issues quickly with clear next steps.
Collaboration
Partner with the client strategy team and channel leads to meet requirements and timelines.
Standards & Safety
Apply brand-safety and suitability settings where applicable.
Apply allow and block lists where applicable.
Follow client guidelines.
Ad Operations Support
Partner with the team to build and share ad operations insights and best practices.
Support ongoing learning.
Contribute to the company’s internal approach to operational excellence.
Qualifications
Experience
2–4 years of successful hands-on digital marketing experience in ad operations or paid media execution.
Training and experience trafficking in Meta, TikTok, Google Ads, and other media platforms.
Agency experience is preferred.
A bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field is preferred.
Skills
Strong technical aptitude and an analytical mindset.
Ability to communicate effectively with senior stakeholders.
Ability to move quickly while maintaining quality and meeting tight handoff timelines.
Ability to triage multiple requests and launches, prioritize high-impact tasks, and communicate trade-offs clearly.
Strong attention to detail when working with specifications, naming, UTMs, and policy checks.
Ability to manage multiple tasks with little supervision.
Proactive and resourceful approach to identifying gaps and proposing solutions.
Ability to build lightweight tools and checklists.
Interest in consumer marketing, advertising, and the agency space.
Ability to stay updated on digital advertising and marketing trends.
Ability to maintain a clean and quiet remote work environment suitable for video conferencing and virtual collaboration.
What Success Looks Like
Deliver error-free, on-time campaign trafficking.
Prevent last-minute issues through thorough QA.
Surface issues early with clear documentation and communication.
Build confidence across internal and client teams.
During the first month, learn the agency’s clients, tools, workflows, and campaign trafficking and QA processes.
Master setup and validation within core platforms and ensure consistency across deliverables.
By the end of the first month, prepare clean, compliant campaigns with oversight and clear communication.
After the first month, take full ownership of trafficking and QA across accounts.
Proactively identify issues and streamline workflows.
Maintain data accuracy and optimize recurring processes.
Communicate clearly with channel leads and strategists.
