General Description:
As a GuidePoint Security Project Manager, you are managing a unique portfolio of security focused Professional Services engagements which directly contribute to our client’s goals and success. This position may also require serving as a client-side billable resource for Project Management service delivery.
Roles and Responsibilities:

Efficient and effective management of Professional Services projects through the full engagement lifecycle:

Sales handoff

Resourcing

Customer project plan development

Execution management

Project closeout activities

Ensure regular and timely communications to all key stakeholders.

Manage project issues and risks to resolution.
-
Maintain and foster internal and external customer relationships, ensuring objectives and statement of work deliverables are met.

Plan and manage resources ensuring all projects meet scope and budget expectations.
-
Maintain the OpenAir PSA application for project data.
-
Manage and support internal processes for revenue recognition and customer invoicing.
-
Create and maintain project management methodology and process documentation.
-
Provide Project Management services to GuidePoint customers in a professional service capacity.
-
Other duties as assigned.

Required Experience:
-
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience.
-
3+ years of project management experience, including 2+ years in consulting services or a similar IT project management environment.

Experience with Agile methodology and project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira, OpenAir, Salesforce, or similar professional services applications.
-
Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel for project reporting.
-
Strong project management skills, including scope, scheduling, resources, budgets, timelines, and financial management.
-
Ability to manage multiple projects and teams simultaneously while maintaining customer satisfaction and project profitability.
-
Experience working with information security teams and understanding of key cybersecurity concepts and disciplines.
-
Understanding of professional services revenue recognition and invoicing.
-
Demonstrated leadership, mentoring, and team development experience.
-
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across technical and executive audiences.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, prioritization, and multitasking skills.
-
Ability to build strong customer relationships and drive successful project outcomes.
-
Experience with remote collaboration/teleconferencing tools and willingness to learn and use AI-enabled tools.
-
Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends as needed.
Preferred Experience:

Standard industry certifications.

Advanced computer skills with Mac and Google application experience.
Travel Requirements:

Willingness to travel up to 15%.
Physical Requirements:

Sedentary work.

Substantial movement of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers for a minimum of 8 hours a day.
