The role requires strong expertise in CRM Analytics, Salesforce native reporting, SOQL, SAQL, data modelling, Einstein predictive capabilities, and Salesforce data quality. You will work closely with Sales, Revenue Operations, Finance, and Operations stakeholders to translate business questions into accurate metrics, dashboards, reports, and predictive insights.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain CRM Analytics dashboards, lenses, datasets, recipes, and dataflows.
- Build and optimize Salesforce native reports, custom report types, dynamic dashboards, filters, cross-filters, bucket fields, and summary formulas.
- Develop interactive analytics using SOQL, SAQL, bindings, filters, and faceting.
- Configure and validate Einstein Discovery / Prediction Builder models and monitor predictive scoring and refresh activities.
- Implement formula fields, roll-up summaries, and supporting Salesforce schema changes to ensure reporting accuracy at the source.
- Gather analytics requirements directly from Sales, Revenue Operations, Finance, Operations, and senior business stakeholders.
- Define and document metric definitions, calculation logic, data lineage, refresh schedules, and reporting standards.
- Identify and resolve Salesforce data-quality issues such as duplicates, inconsistent classifications, ownership gaps, territory issues, and inaccurate stage values.
- Reconcile Salesforce metrics with Finance and operational systems of record and investigate variances to root cause.
- Implement appropriate row-level and field-level security based on Salesforce sharing and visibility requirements.
- Apply data classification, access-control, customer-segment, and jurisdictional handling requirements to analytics assets.
- Manage analytics changes through source control, sandbox testing, documented validation, and controlled production releases.
- Maintain an inventory of analytics assets and retire redundant, unused, or outdated reports and dashboards.
- Provide Tier 2/3 support for dashboard issues, dataflow failures, reporting defects, and performance problems.
- Train business users on self-service reporting and create guidance for recurring analytics requirements.
- Evaluate Salesforce seasonal releases for analytics-impacting changes and regression-test critical reporting assets.
- Collaborate with enterprise data and BI teams when Salesforce data is integrated into downstream platforms and reporting environments.
What Makes You a Great Fit
- 5+ years of experience in Salesforce analytics, reporting, business intelligence, or related data roles.
- 3–5 years of hands-on Salesforce reporting and analytics development, including at least 2 years with CRM Analytics / Tableau CRM.
- Strong experience building CRM Analytics dataflows, recipes, datasets, dashboards, lenses, bindings, and refresh schedules.
- Proficiency with Salesforce native reporting, including custom report types, cross-filters, bucket fields, summary formulas, and dashboard filters.
- Strong understanding of the Salesforce data model and sharing/visibility model, including org-wide defaults, role hierarchy, sharing rules, and field-level security.
- Strong proficiency in SOQL and SQL, with working knowledge of SAQL or comparable analytics query languages.
- Good understanding of dimensional data modelling concepts, including facts, dimensions, and data grain.
- Proven ability to gather requirements directly from business stakeholders and translate business questions into precise analytics solutions.
- Strong ability to explain metric definitions, reporting logic, and data variances to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience working in controlled Salesforce environments using sandboxes, documented testing, source control, and scheduled releases.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, data-quality, and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with Salesforce CPQ, Revenue Cloud, quote-to-cash, or enterprise data integrations is an advantage.
- Familiarity with tools such as Fivetran, Boomi, Salesforce APIs, Power BI, Salesforce DX, Gearset, or Copadois desirable.
- Experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flow, Tableau, or Salesforce Data 360 is a plus.
- Salesforce analytics-related certifications such as CRM Analytics and Einstein Discovery Consultant are desirable.
