How you will achieve success:
- Lead cross-functional process design and continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen internal controls and scale with business complexity.
- Own month-end close activities, including financial statement variance analysis, while identifying and executing process efficiencies.
- Monitor credits and funds owed to Spreetail, partnering with Treasury on cash optimization and weekly payment processing.
- Design and deliver reporting, metrics, and insights that drive issue resolution and improve financial outcomes.
- Drive cross-functional issue resolution through clear communication, strong stakeholder partnerships, and a bottom-line mindset.
What experiences will help you in this role:
- Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field; industry certifications and/or graduate degree preferred.
- 3–5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, or a related business function with working knowledge of GAAP.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (used extensively), with experience leveraging analytics tools; SQL a plus.
- Strong problem-solving and process-improvement mindset, with the ability to adapt in a fast-paced, changing environment.
- Excellent organizational and stakeholder-management skills, able to prioritize competing initiatives and manage multiple projects.
