Position Summary
The Contracts Specialist supports the Senior Contract Analyst in managing the lifecycle of company contracts and agreements. This role focuses on contract preparation, review, tracking, and compliance oversight to reduce operational and legal risk. The position coordinates across departments to ensure contracts are accurate, compliant, and executed efficiently.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Assist with drafting, formatting, proofreading, and redlining company contracts and agreements.
• Review contracts for accuracy, completeness, and consistency with company standards.
• Prepare contract packages using Adobe tools and standardized templates.
• Track, maintain, and verify that contract requirements are being met by roofing installers.
• Maintain contract records, version control, and supporting documentation in company systems.
• Identify missing documentation or contract risks and escalate appropriately.
• Ensure contracts comply with applicable state regulations, licensing requirements, and company standards.
• Coordinate with internal departments and external parties to move contracts through review and execution.
Technical Skills
• Strong proficiency in Adobe Acrobat editing and redlining required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word contract formatting required.
• Excel proficiency required, including the ability to create, manage, and analyze tracking spreadsheets.
• Experience with Smartsheet or similar project tracking systems preferred.
• Comfort working with digital document management systems.

• Clear, professional written and verbal communication with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to prioritize competing deadlines and manage a high volume of documents without loss of accuracy.

• Collaborative approach to working across departments and with outside parties.
Experience
Three to five years of experience in contract administration, compliance, or the construction industry required. Roofing industry experience is strongly preferred.
Education
Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent relevant experience.
